This has been a manic year.   Just when Wabash looks to be playing "Wabash Football" on both sides of the ball, an injury or re-injury occurs and back to sleep we go.

The first half was awesome.... except the last 2 minutes.   

I am concerned about Chase and his ability to stay in football games.   Concussions are a tough deal.  There is an extreme sensitivity towards them in athletics today and rightly so.   I could tell in the first half today that the offensive game plan was trying to protect Chase a little bit by putting the zone read on the shelf for the most part.

Hope Chase is ok and can go next week.   The 2nd half today showed that we need him out there.

I did not see everything that happened either...but the talk among the crowd was that they saw an Oberlin player throw a punch...I, too saw the body slam...2 personal fouls were called on Wabash...I would assume the first was for the body slam (the referee's mic kept cutting out all game long)...but Jake Kolisek got the second personal foul and was ejected...I have no idea what he did...I thought for certain CJ Gum would be ejected but was not...and no penalties whatsoever were called on Oberlin on the play.

They said on the broadcast that Kolisek bumped a ref when arguing the first penalty. Anyway, the whole thing was embarrassing and distracted from an otherwise MONSTER game by that guy.
