Now let's not get hasty, here. It's not like he's one of the famed Wabash 'fair catch or die' returners of the past. Elmhurst made a crucial error in punting TO him with the game on the line, and he came through. You think after the DeSean Jackson play that the other team would be more self-aware of those things.

Plus, Dee Brizzolara is a hell of a name, even if it invokes former Braves hurler Tony Brizzolara. (Not to be confused with Preston Hanna, Rick Matula, or Buzz Capra.)

I'm sure VP Emmick will teach Elmhurst's punters not to go all Matt Dodge next time and punt right to the fastest player on the other team.

Oh, and I don't like to invite the wrath of the Maroons too much. Who knows what the half-life of some of the stuff under the stadium is? Here, friend, have some freshly made Americium. Hot off the particle accelerator.

I think the bit is "top 25 team most likely to be upset". I'm not sure Keith is picking Wabash to lose, just saying that if he had to pick one that might lose, he'd pick Wabash. If you look at the top 25 schedule, there aren't a lot of good picks available.

Plus Keith always picks third, just FYI.

Lord teams. QB Chris Creighton led them to the only NCAC championship in Lord history.
"CC" is batting .636 at Drake and has a tough road trip at Butler...4th year? Time flies....

I think Wabash outdraws Drake, even. Drake plays in a 14,000 seat stadium, too. (Of course, that's for the Drake Relays too...)

- Yep, Drake drew something like 1600 to their most recent home game.  I was at their first game of the year last year and was surprised at the lack of support.  Great facility for a ball game or a track meet.

Twitter report says that there's a delay in Chicago due to lightning. Has Mother Nature turned against football this year?

Kinda relieved actually - tuned into WNDY and was treated to some lame soccer-mom crime mystery.  So good to hear Mr. Harris cut into NPR's weekend programming.  ;D

Though if it was "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" I would have been a miffed for a second, especially during lightning fill-in-the-blank.

U Chicago U-Stream will have some issues in the end zone, but it caught a nice picture of the interior of the press box during Chamblee's TD catch.

Penalties (4 for 25) still a problem for Wabash. The LG's got lucky Belton's fumble went out of bounds.

Holy schmokes! A perfect punt block! TD! Scola!

But the XP is blocked as well.

Wabash front line dominating in the passing game. No time to find Brizzolara, and the one time he got loose, he dropped the ball.

If you have no time to pass the ball, the All-American WR can't hurt you! And now I happily say that my Pick 'em pick may be wrong.

However, another missed XP. A small, yet vexing, issue.

Penalties are a big, yet vexing, issue. Two Unsportsmanlike Conducts on this drive, one for leading with the noggin on a tackle.

Looks like Witt is handling Gheny thus far, 17-3 at the half.
Case leads Denison 12-0 at the half.

UC announcer is complaining about the handoffs. Well, kind sir, your QB may be turned into gelatin if you keep passing.
