Quality win today by the Little Giants.

This might not be as talented a team as Joe Fincham has had in his tenure, but they played like champions today, giving you guys all you wanted.

Theres a lot on the line the rest of the season for the Tigers, and they need to build on todays effort.

These next few days are when the foundation of the future will laid.  Time to get some candy boys.

Yes, congrats to Wabash.  Win out and make the NCAC look better than it has thus far.

Good game Witt.  We played hard but came up short.  MacLoed is right, build on this and get ready for next year.  Go Tigers!!!!!!!

What a tremendous game - two teams giving their all. All that and a Mt. Union loss. What more do you want???

Well, this makes the NCAC a one-bid league for sure, unless the unthinkable happens in the swamp next Saturday.

I wonder if the OAC has published tie-breakers, since that is now probably going to be a three-way tie for first if it plays out according to Hoyle.

Just back from the 'ville - WOW!  What a game!  Big crowd, great atmosphere, extremely intense game, and good weather as well!  Wittenberg was everything we wanted, and pretty much what we needed - a quality opponent to see where we're at as a team.  Witt punched us in the mouth early, but we had the talent and the character to pull out the W.  We took Witt's best shots and answered with our own shots - showed a lot of toughness.

Russ was efficient - I would have liked to see some more attempts downfield.  Wabash D-line getting pressure on Holmes made a BIG difference in the 2nd half.  Aside from big plays by Murray and Holmes on screens, defense did a good job bending but not breaking.

All in all, a quality win over an opponent much better than its record.

And oh yeah, HUGE PROPS TO ONU!!!

Great great great great win for Wabash today.  Witt played a whale of a game.  The difference was pressure on Holmes in the 2nd half.  Pressure forced the turnover that led to the winning score and it was all D after that.  Can't say enough about the crowd in the second half either.  On three straight possessions in the second half, Witt facing big third down plays, Holmes was forced to call timeout as the crowd was going insane.  I don't know if crowd noise had much to do with those timeouts, but I'd like to think so.  The crowd was about as rabid as I've seen it at Hollett since '02.  Great atmosphere today.  How about Russ calling for the crowd to go nuts on a Wabash 4th and 1 play?  The kid has major moxy.  I love it.

We all know about the Mt. Union score (does this set up the possibility of MUC travelling to somewhere, say Crawfordsville, in the playoffs?)....but check this out for an under-the-radar upset:

Alma 37
Kalamazoo 38

That's about as big an upset as we've seen this year....right up there with anybody over Mount Union and Kenyon over Wooster.
