oooooooo... the big old bad old Mount Posters are hitting my Karma.... ouch... it hurts so much........ Get a friggin webstream and quit being pre-madonna's.....  UWW is the King right now in D3, you're just not there anymore....

Come talk to me after you get beat this weekend.  Your Mount team is not ALL that this year, and you know it.   Very good still and it will most likely be a great game, but Not ALL that...anymore

Keep hitting my Karma.... not going to stop what is going to happen on your home field in 2 days.

This post brought to you by:  Jack Daniels...

Bashbrother, it is "prima donna" not "pre-madonna".  Prima Donna is italian for "First Lady."  But since their aren't any females at Wabash, you may not be familiar with members of the opposite sex.

I guess the NCAC education is more prestigious than the below-average degree I received from the OAC.

Bashbro's not an alum, dude!

And I have found, through my travails, that denigrating someone because they misused vernacular causes one to be regarded as an obstinate doofus!  ;)  (Still, to this day, 30 years later...maybe that's why I need Zoloft...)

(I can't believe I am sticking up for BashBro! :-[)

I'm pretty sure that "pre-Madonna" was a pun, not an error.  Personally, I found it amusing. ;)

WOW!  Easy there big fellas!  You can tell it's getting closer to game day.

All this talk about a webstream, karma, not all that, Madonna, etc....

Oh...and IF (and that's a big if) Wabash wins this weekend I will be the first one on here (once I get back home) congratulating the Little Giants and wishing them luck in the semi's.  I don't THINK it will happen, but it could.

Hope to see some of you tomorrow night.

Safe journeys...

It could be karma for the LGs to win.

For some G_D reason, when I was in Key West this weekend with my girlfriend, we watched the Punkin Chunkin event on Discovery Channel. (It was after our revelry). And the long reigning champion in the Centrifugal category lost for the first time since 1998.

So yeah....

I'm there tomorrow night. Are we all just Mount guys and Wabash guys anonymously or do we need Post Patterns name tags? :)

We started doing name tags at the Stagg a few years ago, so if I think of it tomorrow morning at the office, I will grab some and a sharpie.  I will also try to coerce my sig other (who is the creative director at the agency where we work) to make up a Mount & Wabash sign to hang/place on the table (s).  As she said earlier tonight....."oh good...does this mean I get a football free night to workout and watch Christmas shows?"  It's win-win.   ;D

Missing Rudolph and Burl Ives for this? You are committed, friend. :)

Looking forward to seeing and meeting people tomorrow. Comaraderie is a great thing.

It looks like I will be able to attend the game Saturday, guest of Raider68. :)  It would be great to meet some of you guys if time permits.  Hope you all have a safe drive.  It would be great to meet up with all of you at the "gathering" of the Wabash and Mount Union crowds tomorrow evening, however, unfortunately for me, I can't leave for the game until early Sat AM (a good drive to get to Alliance).  Anyway, safe travels to you all and best wishes for a great evening tomorrow.

I thought this quote from Coach Raeburn in THIS Journal Review article was classic.

Quote"I know my kids and my wife and my mom will be rooting for Wabash," he said. "I told my wife to keep her eye on everybody else. With Christmas coming around, I want to know who was rooting for Wabash."

Dear Smed aka Mister Know it all:

Joe Tait was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010 after 40 years on the air as the radio voice of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was the play by play announcer from the team's first year, 1970, until his retirement in 2011 (except for two seasons: 1980-81 and 1981-82). He also did play-by-play for the Cleveland Indians for 15 seasons— on radio from 1973 to 1979 and on television from 1980 to 1987. He broadcast games for the Cleveland Rockers (WNBA basketball), Cleveland Crusaders (WHL hockey), Mount Union College football, and other teams. His final Cavaliers broadcast was on April 13, 2011.

This should be fun around 3:00 Saturday.

70's, come on man the only seperating Mount from being a big time program is a web stream.  We could stream our games to dozens of fans LIVE!!!!  Just stop being such a pre-madonna and just stream the game to smeindy's mom's basement

I know who Joe Tait is...i was complementing that he wasn't a horrible broadcaster. My syntax may have been garbled but the point was that a HOF broadcaster doesn't mean a good broadcaster. It didn't apply directly to him.

And the Crusaders were in the WHA! (Ah, the WHA...along with the ABA the leagues of my youth...)
