Seriously, everyone needs to do themselves a favor and watch the CBS Sunday Morning report that is on YouTube mentioned in that article. It is 8 minutes well spent.

Thanks for sharing that.

PS: I love the 2nd half with each team wearing home jerseys. I vote we try that.

Glad you enjoyed!  What you see there is culled from the tape I recorded while home for Thanksgiving break sophomore year -- I cleaned it up (it's old home Beta footage) and am happy we can all still enjoy it.

This is a great posting - thanks for the link.

Funny thing - I don't recall the change in jersey color at half time and I played in that game.   I concur with the idea of home jerseys.

Ok... the Circus that is "Our field needs to be different" can stop any time.

NAIA's - Lindenwood University-Belleville (IL)'s new field.

How long until someone does green and purple (or whatever their colors are) checkerboard?

Paisley??!! 8-)

When Boise State burst on the national scene with the only really weird field, I confess I thought it was kinda cool.  But (quoting Paul Bunyan) "too much is enough".

Sorry, but that is one ugly looking field.:)

Congrats to Wabash Senior Wes Kitley being named 1st team Pre-Season All American!

I have never heard of the DePauw dude who is a 2nd team returner???

As a whole, pretty light on NCAC representation...

Sounds like Bash's coaching staff is coming together including the addition of Don Morel, Aaron Selby (Wabash grad), and Jeremy Morris returns to help with the O-line with ER.

I think the administrations of the different athletic divisions need to step in and do something.... it is getting ridiculous.     Eastern Washington Universities all red field gives me a headache......  Not that I am a complete traditionalist, but come on. (keep it some shade of green)   If schools are jones-ing for attention that much.... then they should build a winning football program.   That's just my take......

Agreed with this.  Boise's field was really cool because it came first (or, at least, it was the first that the majority of college football fans were exposed to, I guess there may have been some obscure high school that did it first).  Now it's just annoying.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

He had 3 kick returns for 28 yards in last year's game.  You may have missed those while distracted with obligatory post-TD high fives and the counting off of umpteen hundred Sphinx Club pushups.

Side note...while looking that stat up I was reintroduced to the fact that Wabash completed just two passes in that game.  Which is still equal parts head-scratching and hilarious.

Good notes about the coaching staff, 16.  I'm rapidly getting bored with the summer...can't wait to have players back on campus, in camp, and ready to go.  I think the squad this year has a very high ceiling and I'm anxious to see these guys get after it.

I had to chuckle as I've never heard of Wes Kitley ...

Taylor Wagner had a superb season, with the Bell game being -- well -- you get it... all around.

Congrats to both.

And with three interceptions by the LGs, our defense caught more passes than our offense. :)
