When reviewing a player on film,  I look at the size, instinct, toughness, patience and overall athletic ability.   The proof is definitely in the pudding and time will tell.

Even Russ #3 had a decent H.S. highlight film,  we all know how that ended up  ;)

I was chatting with a huge Little Giants supporter the other day that informed me that Zurek had a tough North/South All-Star game,   I then found that in 2001 -  Jay Cutler (Da Bears) went  4 of 11 for 13 yards and 1 int in the same All-Star Game.    Thus,   like anything else... we shall see.

An interesting question was asked on the CCIW Board...... so I will ask it here as well.

Does anyone know of any NCAC grads that made the US Olympic Team this Year?

Old Caveman, that's old news.  As in released in August 2011.  Time to clear out the cache....

Looks like Mason Zurek is a great student too, 4.2 GPA that was recruited by the Ivy schools.  Glad we got him.  WAF!

BashDad

I wish Zurek's 40 was closer to his GPA, but hopefully his size and those beautiful stop-start moves will balance out the underwhelming speed. Also, I feel like pissing off Vann Hunt will be one of the better consequences of having him around. Hunt can be a real William Wallace when he's jacked up.

The roster has been posted: http://sports.wabash.edu/roster.aspx?path=football

Coupla big 'ol frosh WRs. The physical size of the class is impressive.

BashBacker#16

A couple of comments with a quick glance through the roster with an emphasis on newcomers:

- Gotta love a Juco WR transfer who is 6'2 192 who played high school ball at De LaSalle H.S.  A Juco highlight film too on Youtube.  I also love the #7 going to him.
- Remember CP Porter at running back?  What a great story coming back to school.  Great kid, hard worker, and I am anxious to see what he can do with those "jump cuts" - even if he is 23 years old.  Also, I believe these weights will be updated once the guys report.  I know CP wrestled so he will be more like 190 when he comes in to camp.  Played as a frosh under CC.
- Love 6'2 230 TE's from Warren Central
- Love 6'1 290 OL's from Ben Davis
- Love 190 lb D-backs from Ben Davis

Why not.   Let's get back there in 2012!

I remember that C.P. stood for "Can Produce". Glad he's back.

Wabash #10 in the D3 Poll -   May be high.....may be just right,  we will see.   We will have talent that is for sure,  some holes to fill.

Thanks for the heads-up, smedindy. From bashbrother's post, there was no way to tell that he was trying to report an error on our part.
