Very very excited to make the trek over to Madison tomorrow evening. Anyone going to be in town for the game and meeting up tomorrow night?

On a somewhat related note, OUCH on Hanover's $10 fee for tailgating. Give me a break! Didn't L.S. Ayres leave them with enough money?

Should be a fun day on Saturday. Will be interesting to see how Hanover stacks up after having been throttled by the Blueboys last week.Hard to believe it has been this long since the teams last met! Especiallly since we were at one time to be sister-institutions, with Hanover being the women's college...

We don't need all those QB's when we have Jake "The Snake" Hester.

If he's any good they may as well start him, though a frosh QB ain't your cure-all. Also, I love the contradiction in his first quoted sentence.

Seriously, what happened? Dude's not on the roster.

Spent a few minutes trying to find this guy.  Not on any rosters of the schools mentioned in the article.  Nothing on Google other than the normal recruiting websites.  I recalled reading about the "savior from the south" but did not see any QBs on the roster from Evansville.  Saved himself from a fate worse than death.

He was on the roster a couple of weeks ago, and must have been a camp melt. Or his girlfriend called.

Hanover must be following the invisible hand of the free market in their tailgating pricing.

Jake the Snake is already gone???  What gives?  They blow through QB's like crazy.

From the home office in Omaha,  Hester's Facebook page lists that he is attending school at Depauw.

Hilarious, I was trying to find scoop too on the Jake-ster!  I couldn't find anything either.  I'd love to know.

$10 for tailgating is ridiculous.

It is!  Hanover must be a dry Campus?  Wabash and Franklin are NOT dry   :D

Yes, unreal - $10 for tailgating.  I know it wouldn't be the same in not tailgaiting by the stadium (or on campus), but why don't they just do at a nearby "off campus" park or lot, if there are any of either, for those who want to tailgate but don't want to pay the ridiculous $10 fee.  That is kind of a "slap in the face", especially to the parents who tailgate in support of their sons, IMO. ::)

Actually, it's a very visible middle finger.

I'm tailgating for the UTSA game tomorrow and I pay $20 for a parking space in the Alamodome parking lot. For FBS football I'm okay with that. For D3, that's weak.

For $10....one should have the scenic view overlooking the Ohio River with
co-ed "car-hops" serving frosty cold ones, hawking game day programs....

The Watts era starts tonight at Deeds-Piper... Jr. gun Espo will be key for Bishops,
but, there should be concern over the veteran Big Red defensive line.
Since Tom Watts is a Hanover grad....maybe we'll see $10 parking at Selby?
