CMU 27, Denison 14 at the half
Case 24, Wooster 14 at the half
OWU 23, DPU 12 at the half
Kenyon 20, Oberlin 0 midway through the third
Chicago 7, Allegheny 0 sometime in the third

Gotta game now, Wabash 20, Witt 17 after the blocked punt and a short TD run.

Big plays, a bad penalty and another special teams breakdown allow Witt to close the Wabash lead to 20-17.

Wabash driving now, inside the Witt 40. End of three finds the LGs still up 20-17. Porter converts on a TD run and it's now 27-17.

Dension has trimmed the CMU lead to 27-21 with 8 minutes to go in the third.
Case now leads 31-14 with 11:27 in the third.
OWU 23-19 over DPU early in the third.
Oberlin has cut the lead to 20-13. Kenyon still up late in the third.
Chicago still up on Gheny 7-0. I think Jack McBrayer is doing the PBP for the Maroons.

Wabash answers with a 8 play, 86 yard drive to push the lead to 27-17 with 13;54 left in the game. Good drive by the O to get points and give the Hard Hats a breather.

And the D responds with a 3 and out, including two sacks.  Wabash has the ball back with 11:53 left.

Bad luck. Vann Hunt fumbles flys right into Witt's hands and the Old Tigers have life again.

Vann seems to have a habit of doing the fumble routine.  Wish we could pick a running back and stay with them.

Wish this committee stuff would be shelved at game-winning time... how many times does this have to happen?  ???

It's over in Chicago. The Maroons beat the Gators 10-0 (I'm guessing)
Kenyon now up 30-13. The Lords look to be cruising to an 2-0 record in the NCAC.

Wabash responds with a long clock-killing drive that resulted in no points, but who cares. Little Giants beat the Old Tigers 27-24!

Witt announcers were incredulous that the 'likes of Ohio Wesleyan and Allegheny are now in the lead of the NCAC" Wait 'til they find out that Kenyon is also 2-0!

Big pick by DPU in OWU territory with 12:37 left in the game.

OWU - 23
DPU - 19

Wabash wins 27-24 by killing the remaining 9:32 of the game on a textbook 17 play drive.  Only one pass in the series.  In some ways, may be most impressive performance of the day.

OWU, 'Gheny, and the Lords at the top of the standings at mid-season?  Who da thunk it? :o
