I'm expecting OWU to beat Kenyon, because OWU's momentum (even against lesser competition) looks a lot stronger than Kenyon's, but I also expect it to be closer than many others might suspect.  OWU may be 5-0, but they've won a couple close games and their defense isn't really shutting anyone down.  As nike alludes to, this is kinda Kenyon's Super Bowl; win this game and suddenly THEY are 3-0 in the NCAC and just one or two more upsets away from an unbelievably improbable turnaround.

I think OWU is the better team and will win by about three TD's in the end, but I bet it's a close game for at least 30 minutes.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

I believe OWU beats Kenyon pretty bad....   Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, sorry Smeds  ;)

While the Lords beat Oberlin pretty impressively and played Wash U tough, but lost,   I think that tomorrow will bring some reality to a few things.

I also believe Depauw could defeat a somewhat confusing Allegheny team.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Bashbrother - The trip over to Allegheny in Meadville is a long one.  Having playing in the southern conference for those years travelling to Tennessee. Mississippi, and Texas, DePauw does have experience with longer trips.  Also Allegheny does have the turf field now so it won't be a battle in the mud pit in the Swamp. It will be an interesting game.

That was a tight game between DPU and Gheny in Meadville last year, too. Honestly, I don't know what to expect.

If Wabash wins out, do they get the AQ?

Just read about Tim McNerney's murder at Washington and Jefferson.  Certainly puts things in perspective.
Thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, teammates and the school.  And hoping the police catch the punks who did this, sooner than later.

Yes

This isn't entirely true, is it? If Allegheny also wins out, then they would get the AQ.

You are correct Sir.   I believe Gheny would have to lose twice.   I think h2h carries a bunch of weight in the Tiebreaks.

Correct. Allegheny is in control of the race at the moment.

OWU and Kenyon are also in control of the AQ Destiny. Anyone with no losses have their fate in their hands. All Wabash and Witt can do is win their games, and wait. Wabash can take care of OWU, and Witt can take care of Gheny. OWU and Gheny and  Kenyon can take care of each other.

Win or go home.

Wabash Hokie

Game day in St. Louis - the forecast is great (if not a little warm) for the game today. The RV is the parking lot with flag flying. Going to be a great day of football in the Gateway City.  Go Wabash!!
