Tyler Holmes left,  Tyler Holmes right,  Tyler Holmes middle and we win.   Reverses, trick plays on the goal line... we lose

OWU still leads 27-7 as they move to the 4th in Allegheny.

Witt's up 51-0. Hiram has 81 yards late in the third.

Wooster's up 17-14 as they move to the 4th.

The postseason is on life support right now.

Witjes throws a perfect pass on a trick play. Oberlin up 19-10. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Reminds me of basketball where the Yeomen every once in a while beats the LGs at home.

Denison's ahead of the New Tigers 19-12 at the half.

I can understand the defense wanting to be sure that Witjes is covered and Mandel doesn't have many passing lanes, but they're not getting any pressure and no one is tackling in the secondary. Wow.

Most baffling game I've honestly seen Wabash play ever. We are getting smoked by Oberlin on Senior Day.

Hiram's on the board, it's 51-7 Wittenberg.

OWU still in cruise mode over Allegheny, 27-7 with 4:36 to go.

Next week: Monon Bell.  Saturday: Oberlin.  Some numbers to think about.  Witjes leads the conference in receiving.  Eaton leads almost everything in sacks.  The team leads the conference in defense against the rush.  Last week Oberlin started 6 seniors on offense and 7 on defense, including 3 DBs.  Only one freshman starter, the fullback, and two sophomores, the offensive tackles
No one has scored more than 30 points on Oberlin this season.  In their wins (OK, they were Earlham, Denison, and Hiram) they've given up a total of 9 points.  They took CWR into overtime.  They held Sicre of CWR to 43 yards (17 carries) and Fioroni on Denison to 49 yards (18 carries).  But Williams of Kenyon got 117 (18 carries) on them.  I'm pretty impressed with them even though they are 3-5.  That small roster must come into play v. strong teams.  I'd take a goodly number of those starters on almost any team.
Wally, Smed, others any thoughts on the game, possible score, etc?  Let's get this one, stay healthy, and, move on.

This post looks eerily prescient right now.

I assumed Wabash would come to play today.

If Kenyon can pull this out, we'll be looking at some wacky final-week tie breaker possibilities...and Witt had better show up to play next week of they're playing this version of the Yeomen..
