As noted earlier, the Oberlin / Kenyon game did not feature Josh Mandel.

OWU had one offensive touchdown vs kenyon two defensive and 4 fieldgoals.  They dominated the statline, but not the redzone, the lords have a real chance on saturday even if the big boy's on this board don't think so!

I hope I'm not lumped in with those big boys.  If I'm being offered the choice of Kenyon testing out the glass slipper or Wittenberg playing past week 11, well, that's an easy choice.  Go Lords.  No likey the Tigers.  Any of them.   :)

After this fall we can add the "Detroit" variety to that list.

While we're all trying to figure out who's getting in after tomorrow I would like to congratulate some seniors around the league on a great career. Over the past 4 years(some 5) I've been lucky enough to get to know all these excellent men.

Girard Ogletree and Jordan McIntyre.

Sam Fiorini (H.S. teammate of Huddleston)

Dan Shannon and Brett Williams

Mr. Chase Belton (one of my favorites next to Huff)

Tyler Sheetz, Tyler Swary, James Huddleston.

It's been a pleasure to watch these men lead and compete. They will all leave a lasting impact on their programs.

I imagine that the Bash guys are at the Bell game or some Bell-game-watching function.

Curiously, I can't seem to find the Witt game listed on the d3football scoreboard.

Have to admit the tie scenarios have created some strange thoughts. If I read it correctly, Kenyon wins the three way tie, but if EITHER the Bishops or Tigers lose today while the other wins, the other one would win the two-way tie with Kenyon. How bizarre is that?

Espinosa to Cagney for a Bishops TD.  Weird trick play picked off by WOO on the PAT.

OWU - 16

Witt up 28-0 over Oberlin. Tigers came to play. If all holds as currently progressing, it appears that we're headed for a Witt-OWU tie, which I can live with pretty easily. Still got the funkiness that Wabash will have head to head wins over BOTH co champs, but I don think the LGs have much if a leg to stand on because both Witt and OWU have soundly beaten at least one of the teams to vanquish the Men of Wabash.

Looks like so far if the results hold we will be celebrating another NCAC title in Springfield and another trip to the NCAA playoffs! That with a hopeful Witt volleyball victory over #1 Calvin would make for a great day to be a Tiger!
