Still, the Denison of ten years before wouldn't have beaten them.

Ohio Wesleyan has an interesting schedule the next four games: WOO, DEN, WAB, DPU.  Looking forward to todays games, hope everyone stays healthy.

Did we just intentionally kick it off out of bounds?

Playing man with no safety help AGAIN and getting roasted through the air. Good news Liam only has one interception so far, looking like he wont reach his 4 that he threw last year vs Witt.

It's always good to beat Witt. There's nothing that happened here that we haven't already talked about. I feel like at some point either the offense is going to have a bad day or we're going to play a really good defense (DPU comes to mind) and that's going to be a problem.

Nice win Little Giants!  Not sure why BASH passed the ball with 1:52 remaining but I'll take the win.  Still many possibilities for Championship out comes.  For Wabash, hopefully Depauw beats Dennison and Wabash wins out.  Then hopefully OWU or WIT can give DEN another loss.

Didn't that happen against North Central?

The game vs. North Central isn't a reliable reference point for anything that Wabash is going to face in the NCAC. NCC is playing a completely different game than anybody in the NCAC at present.

Yeah, that's a game that really has no bearing on evaluating Wabash's defense in conference play. They're the best team in the land. The NCAC could make an all star team that would lose to North Central

Wow, Wabash wasn't called for a single penalty!  The last time that happened was September 23, 2003 vs Huntingdon.

Well, the only team that could shut down the LGs is DPU, IMHO, and the offense in the NC game is telling on what can happen if Wabash can't outscore you. (The Denison game was a definite track meet that anyone could have won).  We can outscore every other team on the schedule coming up. DPU? Different story. Wabash has four games to establish their D as a somewhat cohesive unit.

If Depauw, Denison, and Wabash all have just one loss at the end of the year as follows -

DePauw over Denison
Wabash over DePauw
Denison over Wabash

then the AQ goes to Denison, right?

On another note?

We're going to have to thank...the Tigers (Old and New) if Wabash wins the league.

Denison's loss to DPU...whew.

If Wittenberg beats Denison and Wabash beats DPU. That's a three-way 7-1 tie and Wabash has beaten both squads. Unless the NCAC tiebreakers are hepped up on goofballs that SHOULD be the tiebreaker? Should.

(Assuming Wabash beats OWU and OWU falls to someone else - but even if OWU is part of a tiebreaker Wabash would have beaten them to make it happen, right?)
