Hats off to the Denison Big Red team for a great win against Waynesburg.  Big turnaround from last years' 64-0 loss to them.

Great win for the Program and the NCAC.

and kudos to OWU for beating Franklin, and cutting the points they allowed by more than half from last year. Good start for the Bishops.

Does anyone know for sure if Leonard is still the head coach at Franklin?

Bashbrother --

I second your sentiments about Denison. Wow! A great win for that squad. I hope this is the start of something new and big for them.

Sure makes the NCAC look good.  ;D

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Tiger -

His name is all over Franklin's website as Head Coach.

Thanks Bash.

And yes I echo the earlier posts about the Big Red win.  Hope to see more of it this season....as long as it isn't v/s Witt. :)

Congrats to NCAC teams thus far...nice start thanks to OWU (nice win over Franklin).

Another early report from Wheaton is that the final score was 17-10 Wheaton.  Harbaugh played the 1st half and Huff played the 2nd.  Score at half:  10-10.  Huff led them down to the 4, 1st and Goal and did not score???  Not sure how or why.  Sounds like a very hard fought contest though.

I hope Bash made it through without any major injuries...a few dings from what I have heard but nothing confirmed.

Bash fans:  Don Juan Brown apparently looked very good - good news to a very crucial question mark for '05.

BashDad - hook us with more comments when you get back from a long drive!!!

Oh ya, one more thing... NICE!!!  The Dannies lost their home opener!

NCAC fans (including me!) -

Get ready for more flack from the OAC...12 minutes to go in the 2nd...Capital 27 Witt 0???

What the heck is going on???

Sounds like Holmes is hurt too...bad day for Witt, so far at least :(

tiger_alum

34-0 Cap, and Holmes is out of the game.  Back-up qb is a frosh.  Murry had 2 fumbles in the 1st half.  Cap recovered both.

seinfeld

Wooster 10, Muskingum 10 at the half. Two turnovers in the first two possessions allowed Muskingum to get an easy touchdown.

Wooster gives up a long bomb with seconds left in the first half, then Muskingum fumbles the ball trying to down in with 4 seconds left, but the officials were asleep and missed it.

AU Eagle- you know me better than that. I'm disappointed, almost disgusted, albiet I won't let it ruin my weekend - much like I think Witt's weekend is ruined.
