BashBacker---
Thanks for the info on Hasty. I was also surprised to see Matt Hudson, a freshman QB on the roster...tall kid from Salem who I thought was being recruited by some D-I schools (Louisville?) ...also think he may have been on south all-star team as DB or Safety.. any word on him?

Good luck in your opener...I expect a comfortable win for you guys...but wouldn't underestimate Franklin's ability to throw the ball around a bit...

Article in the Journal-Review didn't list Hasty as a top 3 QB - had Huff, Neighbors, and Lehmann, in that order.

I am happy to see Rich Lehmann moving up the depth chart.  He had a nice career at Griffith, but it's not exactly a pass-oriented offense.  It's hard to gauge the skill level of QB's coming out of there.

In related news, Nate Lehmann (6'3", 215) is a linebacker at Grifffith that would look REAL GOOD in scarlet and white.

Darkside D - Actually its Claremont-Mudd-Scripts which is a team that represents 3 colleges ocated side by side.  The Stags as they are called play in the SCIAC.  As is typical of Southern California teams, they are very quick and athletic.  Because there is no junior high football in Southern California, players continue in Pop Warner leagues through the 8th grade.  Because there is weight limit for Pop Warner, the Souther Califonria kids don't get in the weight room until later than those in the Mid-West.  The are generally not as big or as strong, but make up for it with speed, speed, and more speed and athletic ability.  I saw the play last year, Kenyon will have its hands full.

haha,  you all caught me!   I admit I have no clue what I am saying on this one.  I have never heard of this team and did a quick search and saw they were from cali.  I just wanted to give Kenyon a bit of ribbing leading up to the wooster game.  Sure the game isn't for another 9 weeks, who cares.  Sour grapes from last year?  You bet!!

DarkSide-D

Of course, if Kenyon wins easily, it will pave the wave for me to say..."I told ya so"

So this Claremont...I searched them online, is it the school in Cali??  That is a long drive to gurantee a win.

You should go to D3football.com and see if they have any information. :)

Good luck, and no injuries, to all NCAC schools today.

Anyone out there know where I can find a link to the Woo waynesburg game.  Woo is not carrying it on their site, and Waynesburg doesn't seem to carry that feature.

Go to the Scoreboard, click on the little "+" mark and there is a link there.

Thanks Li'l Giant,

I tried that but it only gave me a link to the Wooster site.  Like I said they are not carrying it this week, which is odd.  They used to carry them all.

Li'l Giant

Aha. I misunderstood what you were saying. That sucks. Listen to the Wabash game instead.  ;D
