Touchdown Tigers, Witt goes up 10-7 with 4 minutes before the half.

Wittenberg goes on a big drive after a Wooster missed field goal, then misses a field goal of their own, but Wooster is called for roughing the kicker, and Tristan Murray pounds it in for the TD.

What is it with the Witt-Woo series and the penalties.  Almost always determinative.  Roughing the kicker gives Witt a new set of sticks for their go ahead and now holding on Witt.

To be expected, Witts having protection issues in the pass game.  3 sacks so far.

Tigers doing a fine job running the ball, especially between the 30s, but the pass game is only showing when a first down is needed to avoid wretched field position.

Defense is buzzing, but theyve gotta contain schafer and limit sheppard.  Expecting more touches for Sheppard as the game unfolds.

Good show by Wabash so far. This is comforting.

Also good show by Witt in their first half.

Good show indeed.  I would imagine the field conditions have something to do with it, but great work holding Wooster to 7 points in the first half.

Schafer's interception at the end of the first half was maybe the worst throw in college football history. 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage deep in his own territory, being chased, he throws it underhand  forward to nowhere, allowing Witt to intercept and return deep into Wooster territory late in the first half. Just pathetic.

Do any of you Witt fans remember Marty Bannister who used to do play by play for Wittenberg?  Last week I heard him doing side line reporting for Ohio State.  That is quite a jump from DIII to DI announcing.

Yes, that was the reason Marty left Wittenberg.  He had a job for a year or so now helping out with OSU women's basketball, and then he got offered the football gig this year, and he took it.

I'm a Scott Leo fan myself, anyway . . .  ;D

Wabash starts the 2nd half out right. Missed PAT though. This is Wally's fault.

Quakers answer the Wabash score with a TD. Let's hope the defense holds on here and doesn't let Earlham back into this.

PAT blocked. Plus a personal foul on Earlham to be marked off on the kickoff.
