I believe the Witt and Wabash's rivalry will grow because they both have winning traditions and each year they gotta believe the winner of this game will have the best shot, not the only shot, but the best shot to win the conference. I don't see that changing in the future, other than it becoming more fierce.

BashBro - that is great news.  Does CC know he is coming?

Saturday may be pretty fun now...I can see it...you on speaker phone, Maxie & B Harris on the webcast (thank God!), live stats link up, D3 message board site up, smoke coming out my ears, and an empty house due to my yelling & antics.

BB16,

After you've sat through a game listening only to the webcast you'll never want to miss a game again.  ;D

I'd recommend some form of grain alcohol. It makes it a lot easier to accept yelling like a lunatic at a computer.

Fun, fun, fun.

I always enjoy reading Wabash previews.  Very informational.

I like this quite from CC

QuoteOn Wittenberg: "This is always such a big game because I think both teams bring out the best in each other. We really weren't on their radar screen in 2001. When we won twice in 2002 we took a big step forward. Ever since then these games have been bloodbaths."

Bloodbaths. I like that. Blood makes the grass grow (greener!), but what does it do to turf?

How does a fella get involved with that?

Blood on turf usually leaves a stain, then washes away.

Also, I think your players will enjoy playing on the new turf.  The old stuff was bad, bad, bad.

Go Tigers!

LilGiant,

Would love to partake on the grain alcohol but I have to remain focused through the day.  At 6 PM I'll be leading my 3rd/4th grade Junior football team in to battle for the league championship - 9-0 Cowboys vs. the 9-0 Jaguars.  You'd be proud...we run all shotgun, open with no-huddle, kick PATs, pull guards, and have about 4 different flavors of onsides.  Our theme for the week (wonder where I got that from?) is "mess with the bull, you get the horns" - Saturday we are the BULL.

...so, Saturday is a big day in which I am hoping for 2 "W"s!

BashFan74

BB,

I'd love to see your guys coming out of the pre-game huddle and taking the field.  And under the lights, too.  So, are you all the 'Boys or the Jags?

Best of luck!

BB16:

Good luck with your team on Saturday.  Just don't turn off the webcast early.  They went to sleep last week when you had to leave for your team's game.

BB16,

Just promise you won't blitz the LB before the ball is snapped and crush the center.

Can you believe those a**holes from Perry Meridian that did that?  5th and 6th graders - nice life lessons being taught by those coaches.  They have since been removed (thankfully).

I prefer Wabash running the table in the NCAC and winning the conference over everyone if not Wooster because the away games there have always been the most fun. The fans are crazy but nice, the stadium is beautiful and the college's website gives more info on upcoming games and the opposing teams than  the oppposing school does.  And if you've ever been to the MONON BELL CLASSIC,well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
