Yeah, that was good.

But listen, if the RAIDERS won yesterday, nothing is unpossible.

OWU found their defense. Beating a W is very sweet. Kudos to Coach H and the staff for having the Bishops ready. I posted on here previously that Coach H would have them ready but would the team respond, a big emphatic YES!

I thought by boldly stating Witt will win the conference by beating Wabash and Wooster would put me in line for the just shut up award after the OWU game. I then looked at the remaining games on the schedule, so nicely posted by the way, I now am going to say, Witt still goes to the playoffs, even though they will finish in a tie with Wabash.

People can say all they want about the NCAC but isn't it great that no one knows who is going to win the conference year end and year out. Most of the teams felt like they had a legitimate shot at the beginning of the season and several still do. Unfortunately OWU isn't one of them but hey, OWU BEAT WITT!

Does anyone know the status of Woo LB Andre Smith?  Is he injured?  He seems to have disappeared.

Matchups to watch this Saturday...Bash OTs Millikan & Hilts vs. Woo DEs Mizak & Watson.  If Huff has time...Bash will move the ball.

Smeds - I looked but never found the attendance for the Wabash homecoming game, do you know what it was?  I would think there would be a comparable crowd this weekend...at least I hope so.

You can find it on the boxscore:

5063 is the listed attendance for the homecoming game.  It was packed.

BashBacker16,
He is out with a calf injury suffered on chop block in the Hiram game, I hope he is back for the game this weekend. I am looking forward to coming over for my first taste of a football Saturday in C'ville.
So if you think about it... We have to kill these animals or else they will die...... Guess that makes us environmentalists

Curious_Listner beat me to it. Looks like Wooster has posted a video clip of the hail mary pass.

http://athletics.wooster.edu/fb/recaps/2006/allegheny.php

The window size is somewhat small, but you can definitely tell that an Allegheny defender knocked the ball basically straight up in the air, allowing Swearingen to catch it. No Wooster player got their hand on it.

I found if you download the zip file, you can then widen the window, and then you can see more closely (although it is becomes somewhat blurry).

On a cloudy and cold Monday ... positive reflection:

DePauw is inadequate to be a conference champ

DePauw is inadequate to go to the playoffs

DePauw will catch their lunch on November 11 before the largest audience ever to witness an inadequately managed group of Dannies

And what a bonnie moment it was!!! It was awesome in person. Thanks for posting the link Curious :)

Wow. What a great play.

Can someone tell me what the right DT was doing on this play?  (Yes I know he was probably spying the QB so that he wouldn't  break a long run, but what's the point when there is only 4 seconds left)

Allegheny might as well have been playing with 10 men on the field.  They were essentially rushing 2 against 5 O-Linemen.

Time for a quick uni update...Wabash had red socks complimenting the white on whites this weekend.  Great move.  I was wondering this weekend why more college teams don't wear socks.

Leave the red socks in the drawer this weekend, guys...red jerseys, red pants, AND red socks would give us the dreaded leotard effect which is disgraceful under any circumstance.

A much needed win for the Bishops...and the support from the LG camp was great. The _ Bishop; I was going to Delaware to see  the Hall of Fame festivities, but opted not to....big mistake.
WallyFS4;  Iam surprised that the OAC board (and ours) hasn't jumped on the MUC diss.
WoosterBooster; Spelling & semantics can be fun. I just smile when I see a t-shirt on a co-ed that has C.O.W. on the front.
Go Bishops

I noticed that as well. That look is great. I don't know why more college teams wear socks, either.

Hopefully we can end this all-red madness and bring the red socks back to the home unis with the white pants.
