Easy peasey there, lemon squeezy.  It was a joke.  Sorry.

Dannies left to their own devices can always be expected to deficate on themselves in some way.

Not sure what's more troubling -- your attempted use of this word or your inability to spell it.

I'm not trying to speak for Wabco but while we joke about it, most of the Wabash alumni I speak with regularly pretty much agree DPU had no fault in this and did the right thing by booting the sorority off campus.

Wally - excellent take, nice work.  I have very high hopes that Sobecki is ready to emerge.  2 years from his ACL and I guarantee he is getting after it this off season.  You were right on with your others as well.  We should know more later in the Spring.  I think there are more that may compete.

Some interesting recruiting battles going on.  It's interesting to hear what some of the final decisions come down to...  This is a big weekend for Wabash since it is Honor Scholars weekend.  Recruits can get a sense of what their class may look like and get a better look on campus.

I hear the Witt game next season falls during Fall break - a bummer.

Did anyone else enjoy the Hiram post as much as me?  I was hoping to get those kids' metrics on the following:  Shuttle run, vertical jump, how many bench reps at 225, and if they were an animal, what would they be & why?   ;D

Big congratulations are in order for Patrick Millikan who received an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Read about it here.

Way to go, Patrick. Some Little Giant!

Bravo! THAT is what intercollegiate sports are SUPPOSED to be about.

I know that Wooster fans have some big fish to fry in Salem this weekend but I think someone should point out that the Scots' John Drushal was also a recipient of the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Congrats to him as well. It says a lot that 2 of the 12 football player recipients come from the NCAC. Way to go, Mr. Drushal.

My post was intended as a little fun during a dead moment.  Sorry if it hit you wrong.  I suspect all agree here that ... if the facts reported are correct as reported ... it is hard to believe that the DZ home office administrators could even contemplate such a thing.  The sad aspect is that local undergraduates in the house were the brunt of some very stupid national "beyond the pail" actions ... again ... if the facts are correct as they were reported.  Now back to regular programing.

Congrats to Patrick Millikan! Some Little Giant?

It's funny, I guess the DZs in Dannyland were actually concentrating on their studies and all that, instead of other things. Wow...

One has to feel a little bad for the poor Dannies of DePauw - at least on St. Paddy's day.  With DZ gone, where are girls that poor Dannies football players can date?  Afterall, most of the Danny girls spend their time in C'Ville where the real men live.

What's the term I'm looking for?  Rose colored?  Yup.  That's the one. :D :D :D

Interesting?  How would wide-spread adoption of this affect DIII athletics?  Would it have an impact at all?

The loans I got from Wabash are pocket change compared to the ones from law school. While I think it's great that kids could graduate debt free it's not like the maximum Stafford loans are too much to repay. I'm assuming the maximum amounts per year are the same. If you end up with the max each year and graduate in 4 years it's around $18000. Is that right?

I think it could affect athletics in D-III depending on how many schools did it. I think if it were widespread it would cancel out. But if it were only a few schools I think it would make it easier to get some athletes because it's a lower cost of education than the schools that didn't do it.

It's interesting.
