I think this year, as in almost every year, the NCAC will come down to:

1.  Overall Talent
2.  Senior Leadership
3.  How well the team gels together (coaching)

The 2002 and 2005 Wabash squads had all of the above.   I believe the 2007 Wabash team will have 1 & 2; its number 3 that will be the key.

How are Witt, Woo and Gheny shaping up?

Smed - Good luck to you in your search.  You will be missed.

I won't be a stranger to the boards, just not at the home games, perhaps. We shall see!

Happy 4th everyone ......

Thanks Lancer for your insite. I do agree that Denison has things going in the right direction. I have talked with Jack Hatem, the defensive coord., and he is very excited with the team. This a guy who I was also impressed with. He gets excited just talking about the sport, can't wait to see what he does to get the defense rallied up.

From what I see Denison may be a young team this year, in the sense of skilled positions. They still have some good atheletes that are coming up in the soph. & jr. classes. I got to see a few of these players last year play. The new freshman class is also a very good class coming in.

As i said before .... I am just learning what the NCAC league is bringing to the table. I will be fun to watch over the next few years.

Enjoy the holiday............... Go Big red.

Is Gary Sitler still helping coach the punters at Denison?

ADL70

Last year's Denison program lists Sitler as coaching the kickers.

Seems to be some additions to the Wabash roster... 2 that I noticed, both transfers:

- RB Fenton Blew out of Carmel H.S. from Air Force Academy
- QB Kyle Augustinovicz (6'2 195) out of Pendleton Hts. H.S. from Quincy University

Regarding the Street & Smith's Top 25. MUC-No Problem...Wabash-Better prove the #7  spot. We'll find out in December....Bethel?....Carnegie Mellon? THE Coast Guard?....That's why it's PRE-season....Shame on the NCAC for not having teams in the Top...This board spoke of this 2 yrs ago...we need to be better from top to bottom....Drop the Quakers & Puppies and sign Depauw, Westminster.

No no, that's why it's Street & Smith. We might not have Coast Guard in our preseason Top 100.

Gang,

I should warn any Oberlin Fans here at the Obies haven't defeated Case in something like 25 years, and that Case will keep their winning streak alive on September 1st.

I found some stats from 2004 in which he was the 2nd leading rusher for the Greyhounds.   Couldn't find anything else.
