Well, I guess OWU is done for the year.  You cannot run a quarterback like a halfback without expecting him to get hurt. Hope Hymes recovers quickly and is as good as ever.

What's up with the Akron/tOSU game? Are they playing fall baseball?

Franklin scores on a TD that the Wabash radio crew is adamant was not a catch. The drive also featured a disputed pass interference call on Wabash. Obviously I'm not there and can't say. I'm just passing along what I'm hearing.

Very important TD drive for Bash.  Not only the points, but it gave the D a nice rest.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Indeed, Wabash has run 35 plays to only 15 for Franklin so far.  This could open some things up for Wabash as the game goes along.

The Wabash radio guys reported that there was an obvious pass interference that was not called inside the 5 as Wabash tried one last ditch attempt to score before the half.

Once again, I'm not seeing this (streaming video, please) but just passing along what they're saying. It appears there were some questionable calls in the 2nd quarter.

Wabash just needs to keep the drives going and get the defense some rest.

Looking forward to a great 2nd half!
