Hi all....First time to post, but I've been reading the board for some time.

I've spent the last several days sick to my stomach over Huff, but time to move on, I guess. It is just a game, after all. Both of the Wabash QBs seem to be capable, based on their stats, it's just a matter of poise and knowing the system. I'd think Augie has a leg up with poise, having played in college games, but Hudson's been around the system longer. Who knows...?  One thing's for sure: Wabash Always Fights! Did not think Holter looked as good as Parker in preseason, but I am certainly not the coach.  Parker has a stonger arm for sure .
Holter and Sheppard are from the same high school, however, so they must have played together in high school.
It is a long season and if Wooster does not win a couple games soon, Parker would have to get more playing time, I would think.
Went back and read previous posts and saw where Huff had been on "hands team" before last game. I missed that earlier.
Will be praying that his surgery goes as well as possible tomorrow.
If T.O. can come back in time for Super Bowl, then hopefully Mr. Huff can make it back for post season play.
Have always enjoyed games with Wabash and always treated well, win or lose.

In my view it would not be smart for one to bet his money as if Mr. Huff will return to play this season.

Expect the QB line on the two-deep this week to have the ever ambiguous "Hudson OR Augie".

Good call . . . the press release is out, and that is what it says.

Is there a link to this "Press Release"?

Yes, that's the link. It's also on the main menu of the sports page on the Wabash sports site.

Just noticed that Huff is still listed as the backup holder on special teams.   ???

His hands work just fine.   :)

Unfortunately, that's what led to his current state.

Kinda ironic that Millikin coach, Neibuhr is the former Wittenberg head man. Does this give you guys (MOW-Men of Wabash) any extra push for the game? Since the NCAC has been poor in out of conference play...I'll have to compare the LG's game Saturday to the Evil Empire (OAC), Polar Bears of ONU. Lindsay Field looks like a good facility. Good Luck to the Little Giants...carry the NCAC banner high.

I think we have probably set a record already this year for new posters on the NCAC board.

Welcome Cheetah! Thanks for the link.

I cannot wait for kickoff on Saturday.

Eagle -

Nah. The only thing that riles us up is if there's an ex-Dannie afoot. The ball of hate toward Wittenberg hasn't reached that critical mass yet.

I may not be posting much since I have a lot of meetings in the AM and then flying back to the family in the PM, but I was listening to my iPod and an oldie by Wilson Pickett came on:

"99 1/2 won't do..."

Wabash needs to play 100% even if it is against Millikin. They almost came back and smacked us one last year at home.
