Yes.

And the scoreboard is lagging on the BW/ONU game.  Final 30-17 Polar Bears.

RC

Was capital having an off day.  Or is Otterbein just plain better overall.  And what does that mean for the NCAC (not necessarily focused towards you RC)?

Also, when was the last time Witt went 0-3 to start?  Was that even in recorded history?

Nice test against a good defense.

Our defense is pretty good.

WABASH ALWAYS FIGHTS!

1949 was the last time Witt started 0-3.

Thanks Wally

I had just checked Witt's Web Site.

It appears that in 1953 Witt lost its first four games.  But apparently, the third game was forfeited by Akron.  There is an astrisk but no explanation.

Well, As I am sure you can all see from the score board, Earlham is gettin spanked 41-7.  Any word on Kenyon Case?

Didn't listen to any of the game but caught the coach's interview in the post-game.  Sounds like CAP sputtered and OTT had one long sustained drive at the end of the game that both put them over the top and basically killed the clock.  OTT was not on anyone's radar.  The cross-town shootout is always one OTT gets up for from what we all hear but I thought this year it wouldn't matter what OTT did, I didn't think they could contain Pentello and crew.  I was apparently wrong and it's a great win for OTT.

I don't know if it means a lot to the NCAC though.  I mean WITT might still win the NCAC but that's the only way I think it means anything regarding where the NCAC stacks up.  As long as someone knocks off WITT in the NCAC, then the CAP/WITT game and CAP/OTT game doesn't mean a huge deal IMO.

Read the release on the site.  It seems like Cap gave away the game.

BashDad:
Congrats on the win against Wash U.  As expected, although I thought Wabash would win by a larger margin.

Just back from our game.  Another beautiful Sept day for college football, but another ugly loss for Hope.  DePauw played very steady all day and while a pretty good team, is not a powerhouse by any means.  They will beat some people, have good size and speed.  Hope could (should) have scored twice in the first quarter being goal to goal on one series but botched both of them.  Field goal blocked.  Hope's offense was terrible, no blocking, QB being rushed all day, again like at JCU last week being chased out of pocket, however, only one INT today.  Defense had poor tackling and tired being on the field a tremendous amount.  Bottom line is that Hope is in trouble early this season.  Need some senior leadership to step up.  Something has to change in the next couple of weeks, or it could be a long season.  At Wheaton next week and that will be tough.
