Uknow,
I agree with Wally...Gheny is a tough place to play but I'm hopeful for the Little Giants there. I don't believe they have come close to hitting their potential yet...and I think they are getting better each week. I am cautiously optimistic...however...should the Gators rise up and bite us...I guess I wouldn't be shocked. I think Coach Creighton will keep his guys eyes on Gheny with Witt looming in the distance. But that will be a temptation for some guys...to be thinking about Witt this week. I think the Witt game will be the NCAC game of the year when they come to C'ville next week and it has become such a rivalry over the last 8 years or so. Wabash Always Fights.

firstdown

Allegheny is always a tough game for Wabash and there's no way that Wabash will overlook them.  Fortunately, the forecast is for dry weather.  With the recent improvements to the field, Bash won't have to play in the mud pit that was the Swamp in the past.  The conditions in 2003 were so bad that it was a threat to the safety of the players.

I completely agree that AC is having trouble scoring points this year.  I was checking out stats and it would seem that Wabash should be able to stifle any offense that AC has.  Of course that is assuming the Gators aren't given the ball on a short field and such.  The Gators will be tough at home as usual, but I see this as a W for the Little Giants.  And that's what I am hoping for.

Now, the Tigers have to take care of business this weekend on their first of two consecutive trips to Indiana.

Bishops need to improve in many phases, but, the win at KC was needed. Great job by Sr LB Chad Ellis...9 solos/1 sack and the running backs Adams & Brown - both over 100 yds. Areas of concern: KC Game - Net Rushing Yds 401....Net Passing 48...3rd Down Conversion 3/9...1 first down passing...I know, I know...it's the "O" scheme...There has to be balance...OWU has edge all-time 27-24...should be a good one at The Papp.....

DadofBashWarrior..

I will not be traveling to the Allegheny Wabash game. The last two years I have listened online and saw the OWU vs Witt stream last year.....

What will be the best way to take in the Wabash game this weekend online?

uknowme22,

Agree with Wally.  Expect Wabash to have a focused effort in a very physical game.  Am anxious to see the Bash Front 7 vs. the Gheny O-line.  I am hoping Lieb doesn't have 43 catches like he did last year...ha!  Bash has had strong special teams play and that needs to continue on Saturday.

The home field advantage is minimized with the field turf and the Bash WRs should be flying around.

Prediction:  Wabash 21, Gheny 10 - tough game.

The Wabash webcast is where it's at DoBW...this will be my one weekend away from the Wabash sideline so I'll be a webcast warrior as well.  If something happens with the Wabash feed, Allegheny also has a webcast feed which is linked from the scoreboard page on this site.  I think Allegheny also offers livestats, which is always cool.

I forgot to mention Lieb.  This guy has been killing the LGs.  In the last two seasons Lieb has 20 catches for 169 yards and a TD against Wabash.  Also back this year is Jake Vite to had 8 catches and 3 TDs last year at Hollett.  Maybe Wabash thinks about covering those guys this time around.   :)

DadofBashWarrior..

Thanks so much Wally...

I guess I was just hoping somehow that we could get a stream for the game....

Sat night I am going to the Wheaton North Central game.....have seen this game the last two years as well as the NCC Capital playoff game....

Coach Thorne at NCC is building a dynasty there.....and we know what Wheaton has done .........should be a great game

I think our Wabash offense will really start to gel this week...

I had a dream on Monday night that Andrew had 316 yds receiving in a game...

That would be a .........Dream

Schwami

OK, so Matt Hudson is the starting QB on Saturday for Wabash, and Evan Sobecki is the starting RB, according to the depth charts.

Plan to mix up a brew of Schwami's Chernobyl Chili for the tailgate.  Made with TWR and other secret ingredients.  Only for the daring.
