I bet there will be a spirited crowd there. Now, since Brent is doing the radio, I need someone to give me text message updates if my internet is down. Any help??

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

What's the word on Wooster's Teamline video broadcasts? Worth $15?

ScotLass

BashDad,

I've never used it myself, but folks I know who have, said it's pretty good if you can't see the game in person. So, with a game this big, it might be worth the $15.

Question:

Has Wabash ever considered lights at Hollett?   I think it would be a nice change of pace and very cool to watch.

Also, it is impossible for me to catch a Saturday morning flight and make it to C-Ville by kick-off.

BashBro - you are a trip, we already have old timers freaking out about field turf over grass, now you want to throw lights up???  Let's start with a bada$$ pressbox, bada$$ premium seating (provided by American Seating), and then field turf with checkered endzones...  ;D

I was not aware that Woo offered the video stream - very cool.

Scotlass - interesting you say "with a game this big"

BashBro,

While I agree with BB16's characterization and preferred course of action regarding a stadium renovation, I have heard that lights are also being discussed as well...

what about a bigger better scoreboard that is not obscured much of the game by the sun?
even the stinking dannies have a better scoreboard at blackstink!!

Already had the stadium checked for professional league football seats.  It is a problem due to the aisle ways being too shallow.  They need to be wider to accomodate both the riser mounted seats and a walkway in front of the seats in each row.

However, in my view, improvements we need for Hollett now include:
1) field turf.
2) enlarged/improved press box ... kick but state of the art ... perhaps facing both ways so as to be useful for baseball.
3) improved rest rooms which will pass even the Woo women's rest room quality testing standards.
4) AND ... NEW TO THE DISCUSSION ... we need an elevator to take our less physically able supporters to the top of the stadium where it will empty onto a spacious concrete platform area next to the pressbox ... accomodating wheelchairs as well as having American Seating professional football seating for those who need and/or desire and room to stand around.  I see this as ... as important as field turf.  No longer should persons who are less physically able be limited to first row type seating.  Just my personal thoughts on the subject.  This may also work/be useful during baseball.

Now back to waxing Woo.

Who'll Wax Woo?

This has been a crazy season of college football. On this board, I'm announcing my pick backed up by 7 former mid-eighties COW players. Of course I'm the only one who's willing to go public with this upset pick :)
