I've been off-list for a couple weeks, so I apologize if this has been covered.

Two questions:
1) Any chance Huff will get to take a few snaps at (ptooey!) DePauw? I can't imagine - assuming he's ready - that CC would change QBs in midstream, especially after the games Hudson's had lately. It would be nice for Huff to get to play, though.

2) Are any other Wabash fans as worried about Marks as I am...?

DePauw to Hell!!

Check out the Monon Bell string under "General Football" ... all Qs will be answered.

I have seen the light! Thanks, Wabco....I had no idea that was there!

If we could subtract the 13 pts we gave up to Capital and add 2pts, and add 8 pts to the Wabash score, we'd be 9-0 heading into Hiram.;D

You've responded with a pointless post to one that's point was that while opponents scored an average of 13.7 pts against CWRU; only an average of 11.4 were against the "D."

I completely understood  your post.  I was kidding... see the ;D.   Everyone says things like if you take this away from that... you get this.  The fact is the points were scored and the average is what it is.

...last game of the regular season....regardless of the records, this is the springboard to Grid 2008...Make or Break....
Bishops need to go into Cleveland loose.....versus Case, which could have their season shattered...this has been a shaken season in Delaware...2008 was billed as... The Next Step in Reclaiming the Conference Championship  & Advancing into the Playoffs..5 of the last 6 seasons have been losing campaigns...a Big Win at Case would make the large & strong Cleveland Alumni happy...CWRU has made the commitment to great facilities...their football stadium is very nice...but, put brick facade on the front facing, eh Spartans? If the playoff projections (http://www.d3football.com/dailydose/2007/11/07/projecting-the-playoffs-3/) from D3Sports hold, it would set up a Franklin / Wheaton 1st round game.  I think Franklin would surprise some people in that one, may not win, but would battle.

Probably true, depending on whether Wheaton can get some of its players back for that game.

Very true, Wheaton has been hit very hard by injury this year on both sides of the ball.

Just as CC considers this his worst year ever as far as injuries go, I have to think Coach Swider feels the same.

most of the key guys are either gone for the year or back for this week. Andy Studebaker being the only big time question mark. Its unkown if he will be ready this week or for any/all possible playoff runs. that obviously is a pretty big difference maker.

I should add that studebaker did not scrimmage v wabash nor did many of the currently injured/missing players. the only impact player who played v wabash who won't be around come playoffs is the qb zach ullrich. wheaton was not at full strength in the wabash scrimmage. I know wabash wasn't either--several wr did not play.

I have heard from sources that Swider has indeed said this is the worst he has been hit w injuries in his 30 yr coaching career.

Good luck on Saturday.  Have you heard anything about Hymes and next year and is it definite that  Hollway is back next year? Has he ever won a conference championship?
Saw Schmitz today on campus-head down and walking fast, very intense looking.  A very good sign.

The original renderings show a brick facade.  I wish the seating was blue as well.  The baseball stadium has blue seating.  Musta run out of money.  There are also plans for a field house.

The setting for football at Case reminds me of Catholic and Carnegie-Mellon...and some easten schools...very collegiate...possible snow in Cleveland Saturday? Over-all, CWRU has done a great job. This is an old rivalry game...
nike & ghostface: We can get into the mediocrity of OWU football after the season...."Hymes back ..."H" back/isn't going anywhere"...Haven't heard anything yet....
The focus is on Saturday and the Senior Bishops..and all NCAC Senoirs...suiting-up for the last time (except LG's)...a very emotional time...win or lose, these guys have put in 4 long years of blood, sweat & tears...and I wish them all the best...
Bishops STILL have an upset in them (I can't count the Gator game)...if the Bishops can win...it would give the program hope for the future & a recruiting bargaining chip in NE Ohio...

I never thought of OWU as a rivalry game.  All three were charter members of the OAC and both charter members of NCAC.  But there was a gap of 25 years before NCAC play began.  I can't speak for late 1800s to 1959.  CWRU and OWU have only met 14 times.

BTW, the OWU Media Guide has a more complete NCAC football archive than the NCAC site.
