Today in Minnesota the high was only 70 so football can't be that far off.

Took a tree out of my back yard today.... (Hurricane Season you know) and my shirt was so drenched with sweat.  I felt and smelt like I just took my shoulder pads off....so football can't be that far off.  ;)  90's down here in Florida...brutal.

The Bell game and any playoff games are the only time I get to feel cold. unfortunately.

109 in Las Vegas today. It is brutal. Don't worry...I'm keeping quite cool at the craps table. The dice are frosty so far this trip...

That's because you shaved the playoff 'stache.  :D

Just coat the dice with Potassium Permanganate Hypergols..... they will warm up fast.

(Ok...I have resorted to chemistry..... now I know I have had too much Patron tonight)

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Not that I necessarily believe that version of what happened, but if true, how could anyone honestly classify this as "a really good guy...making a stupid decision" with a straight face?  All the really good people I know refrain from theft by deception, especially from the young men who look to them for guidance.

Bashdad -

You would probably know if that scenario would even be possible without having others within the department involved.   Not a whole lot of actual dollar bills flying around, lots of personal checks made out to the school I would think.

I hope that is just a bad rumor caused by the lack of real information.

Belton does look the part.   Kraft looks lean and mean.  ;)

Can't wait for the show to begin.

I never gave a check to the athletics department, let alone creighton. the story seems silly to me.

P.S. Certain numbers should be retired.  ;)

No, the gear that DePauw provides (T-shirts, warm-ups, etc) is at no cost to the players.

DePauw football subject of Michael Pointer's column in the Indianapolis Star this morning...

Thanks for the input DPU. I haven't entered my 2 cents about the story because you & Wes would be all over me. I think I could have added something that wouldn't be sarcastic, but it's hard when the subject is DePauw. You two guys have been bricks and kept us all honest. Hopefully BreckinridgeBear will stay on his own self-created site, and not bother us as we find out about football games. Your post about DPU's freshman numbers exposes lastest taunt about
a"Real university". Turns out all DePauw has besides a liberal arts college like us (with girls) is a music school. I always thought when I was down there that the "University" referred to a Nursing school, so well- to- do young ladies could position themselves to marry doctors.   Good fortune to you Dannies in the SCAC, but not further. GET THE BELL!!!
