I was also impressed with the condition of the field after two straight days of rain - it was in great shape, and didn't look any worse for wear after the game.

And yes, it is awesome to have a kicker that can consistently make kicks!

Witt has allowed just 16 points in 5 games.  Yikes.

I don't want to discount that accomplishment too much, because anything in the 3 ppg bracket is outstanding.  Allowing 2 touchdowns on the year is really darn good.  Having said that, let's note that they've done that against a group of opponents that is a combined 5-19.

and most likely be 5-20 by later tonight. (Hiram expected to lose to Denison)

But on the other hand .... Wabash has put up a ton of offense against opponents that don't have the greatest combined record.  (12-13)

Anyway you wish to look at it, next Saturday will be by far the toughest opponent that either team will have faced.

It will be a battle for sure.   If either Witt or Wabash comes out flat, they will find themselves down early.

Look forward to it....glad it is at Wabash  Wabash has won it's last 3 meetings with Witt in Crawfordsville

2003 -  41-14
2005 -  26-20
2007 -  24-17

Wabash is 5 and 3 over the last 8 seasons against Witt.

This game has decided the AQ for the NCAC the last 3 seasons.   (Side note: If Witt would have beat Wabash in 2005, Kenyon would have been the AQ  :o)

ALSO:  Good Luck to the Wooster Scots here in a few.

Scots back in it at 14-9, and a great break on kick.  Not sure if that's good or not... at this rate, my pick'em yardage isn't gonna cover Case

Fellas - it is officially WITT WEEK!  Gotta love it!

DK - I will be at the Broncos/Pats game tomorrow during the day and hanging with Bubba tomorrow night!  Looking forward to it.

BashBro - great finds on the Youtube clips.  That chant is much better then the version we have today.  We need the captains to listen to it and make the changes.  Still great to see live and makes the hair on the back of your neck stand straight up.

Back from C-ville as well...WabashCPA good comments but I think we will be ready for sure next week.  I think we were clearly looking past WashU in the first half and this had all the makings of a trap game.  Even though next week is Fall break, I expect a playoff type atmosphere and an awesome game.  Both teams will bring it up a couple of notches and neither team plays teams with this much speed at this point in the season...I expect a war.  The first down ratio said a lot about the game today and WashU had about 50 yards rushing...

How about Chamblee and Lemond today?  Chamblee goes for 13 catches and about 154 and 2 touches while Lemond had 8 for 98 and got hosed on 2 catches...that was clearly a poor call on the long pass towards the NE endzone.

Sure looked like a catch to me as well.  There was a long ball in the 1st half that went off Chamblee's hands that could have added to those numbers as well, although he certainly made his fair share of plays (the one TD in the end zone in traffic was a great play!).

And yes, I would like to think the stands will be full - hopefully on both sides.  Both teams deserve a full house.

The video replay on the one near the NE end zone didn't seem like it was too bad a call. the ball came out though it wasn't clear when it came out. Because the ref was on the other side of his body from the camera I can give the benefit of the doubt on that one.

The one they called a trap before the TD play on 2nd and 20 was a bad call. The video was pretty clear that he caught that.

Geezer Citizen

This old man didn't expect such a onesided victory for CWRU against COW. Maybe Whalen & crew are for real.

52 - 31. Oh my!

When better women are made, Wabash men will make them.

Li'l Giant

Valiant effort Scots. Whalen is a beast though.

WOW did anyone remember to tell the scots defense that there was a game tonight?? Whalen was tough, but Case ran all over and  through Woosters defense.   So I guess its offical, I can book my fishing trip cause the playoff ship has departed via Cleveland again this year.
So if you think about it... We have to kill these animals or else they will die...... Guess that makes us environmentalists
