He's 5'8" 220 -   I am seeing a possible position change in his future.... FB anyone?

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

How about Witt's Brad Mckinley? He's listed at 5'8" and has torn up the league for 3 years, along with all the unnecessary roughness flags.

Very true.  I remember in the snow at UWW, as the Warhawks were warming up and I saw that they had a 5'6" corner starting for them.  I immediately, after a few beverages, began to say that we were going to destroy him with our taller receivers/

That will be the last time I do that.   He ate our lunch and had one of the early picks.  The lesson I quickly learned was:  If he was starting for UWW, size doesn't matter... he is a great football player.  I then had a few more beverages.

By that time, Brother, you needed the anti-freeze. Standard equipment here in Wisconsin, plus cheese to wash it down. Wab64

If there's anything I've learned about little guys playing at O-line or D-line, its to not take them lightly... they're playing there for a reason- whether its because they're real quick with great technique, or they're just mean as hell. I made the mistake of laughing at a 5 foot nothing nose tackle in HS afterthe first play of the game. Turns out he was a mean little cuss and broke my nose on the second play.  :P

If the kid's going to Wabash, there's a good chance he plays a little bigger than 5'8" 220.

OWho?

Facilities aren't what is holding OWU football back.  Philosphy and culture are.

Bologna!!!!

OWho?

Even with the loss of promising stud guard Chad Williams by transfer OWU will remain strong. Long live the Bishops. We will miss your services greatly C-Dub. Good luck in all your future endeavors.

Always and forever yours,

Must be missing something...

Remain strong....

OWho?

I have an inside source that tells me that THE Kerry Collins is now at OWU and working with their football team. Watch out for the OWU aerial attack!

IMO -  What I believe the program needs

Step 1 - New Offensive Scheme (May require coaching change)

Step 2 - Recruiting - Take advantage of their location

Step 3 - Administration support

If THE Kerry Collins is in fact involved with the program, it will help and may be a sign of better days.

May be completely off here, but that is the view from my personal vantage point

Wow, someone has ingested some Bishop flavored Kool-Aid.

Face it, not even THE Kerry Collins, or THE Peyton Manning, or THE Pope could have helped the Bishops the last two years.

And the loss of a guard (A GUARD?) won't matter one way or the other.

I wonder why "stud" Chad Williams has left the Bishops program?.....Why would a sophomore that
has had a lot of playing time already in...that grew up just a stones throw from Selby.....
decide that his fortunes lay on some other gridiron.....There has been several (as with every program)
of players that leave...not uncommon...but, OWU can't afford anyone to leave at this point....
There has been a tendency for some Bishop backers to come on D3 with 2,3,4 posts and then
become ghosts.....Maybe this is part of the "Shock n Awe" propaganda that will churn out of
Delaware...at least it provides off-season entertaiment......
My "Grassy Knoll" theory is that someone on the OWU payroll is really all of these hit & run Bishop
posters.....Wouldn't surprise me....I got an angry email from an individual with a owu.edu address.....
OWU football has fallen hard...real hard....and most of us know why & how to fix it.....

I understand the Big Red of Denison have completed the on campus interviews of the 4 finalists for the head coaching position, including at least one coach who would be pretty well known to you Wabash guys.......... I'm now waiting for a puff of white smoke from Granville over the next week or so.

If your talking about Jake Gilbert he would be a GREAT Head Coach for the Big Red.  However, so would Wooster's Seth Duerr.  I'm not sure if these coach are part of the 4 finalists but I believe they would be great fits at Denison.
