Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Sad story indeed...can't imagine what his family is going through right now.

Haven't heard anything out of Delaware......Bishops have a lot to work on....The quote is from last year, so I would think the 2010 spring camp will be successful as well..... Many "challenges " in 2010.....

"After a successful spring, Ohio Wesleyan head coach Mike Hollway
looks forward to the challenges of the 2009 football season"

I am sure all the spring drills are going well. I think anyone who is truly close to a program knows
what is happening in them and doesn't need to ask. Considering there are no offense versus defensive drills allowed and no pads used, I would hope that all offenses are completing 80% of their passes, every run goes for a touchdown and defenses stop every play.

Has anyone heard of any NCAC'ers or DIII players for that matter being invited to camps?  Or does this take place after the NFL draft?

I haven't heard of any NCAC players getting invites yet, but I do know that Dan Whalen (Case) and Kurt Rocco (MUC) have been worked out for some teams. Free agent invites go out after the draft, I believe.

After the draft is when they will be signed or invited to mini-camp. In fact, it's mostly advantageous for some players to be undrafted than go in the 7th round. That way they can pick the best situation for them.

That's what I thought.  I don't know what I was thinking.  My brain hasn't  been the same since my first ever trip to Austin TX and a trip down 6th Street.  (highly recommended)

#84 Wes Chamblee primed for another all-american season on the gridiron!

He was amazing last season, if we can get the ball in his hands enough this year.  Look out!

Who is going to QB Witt this year?

Ouch.

I hope that Chase has the breakout year I think he's capable of.  I heard he ranks among the fastest returning players on the team in the 40.

"Word" is ... great recruiting class so far.  Belton is "the real deal", receivers ... what can you say, how are you going to cover Chamblee on kickoff and punts?, O line will be young but have good talent.  LBs will be killers both upperclass and recruits.  New turf.  New scoreboard.  ER is getting up his steam.  Let the football good times continue to roll.
