Wes can sure play this game!

( the punt return at AC was rediculous (Wes ran about 400 yards to the house. The whole reel is sick.  Speed, speed and more speed)
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Great stuff but without any sound it's like watching the Zapruder film.  :D

I think Coach Schmitz' record against Wabash was reversed - in the notes it says he's 8-2 against Wabash in 10 seasons at Wooster, where it ought to be 2-8 (wins in 2003 & 2004).

I did not realize Wabash is looking for its 6th straight win over Wooster.

DadofBashWarrior..

All my best to all the Little Giants this Saturday...I will again be at Greenville for an interesting non-con playing Anderson where Andrew coached last year...

Hope Chase gets off with a steady game...

There were a number of errors in this release.

First, it says Wabash won last year 41-9, but then talks about how Wabash went up 31-14 in the 3rd quarter. Then there is the reversal of the coaches' record vs. Wabash that you point out. Then it listed Chase Belton from Dayton, IN, not Dayton, OH. Sloppy.

Did I see that Wabash has no seniors on the two-deep at O-line?

Did I miss something?  Where's Nick Durm at center???

ER in his pre-game show eluded to Durm being banged up?

Caught that as well - looks like the O-line will be pretty green.  Time to grow up in a hurry.

BD #84 - I second that.    The luxury quality football programs have is that they have inexperienced players on their roster who are top-notch players.  Quality recruiting ensures that.  The drop off is not nearly what it would be on teams that may have one great year and then 4 bad years; then another great year.

The only thing that might concern me is the number of freshman on the 2-deep.   This could be looked at as a lack of depth OR a great recruiting class.

Wabash will be more than fine.

bashbrother,

I will take the latter! A great recruiting class! 8-) I can't wait for tomorrow, this is going to be a better year than some may think. These young players are going to step up and play well when called upon and the veterans are going to do what has already made them household names in the conference. "Wabash Always Fights" doesn't mean just the upperclassmen, it also pertains to the Freshmen that are trying to impress the coaches as well! Oh yeah, the parents too!

Exactly!  All they need is D3 game experience - they're getting it starting tomorrow!

Agreed - the expectations have been raised, and the coaching staff (prior and current) has done a great job at keeping the program at a high level.  When Top 25 rankings and playoff appearances are the norm rather than the exception, you've got something good.  Reloading rather than rebuilding!
