CMU ran for something like 800 yards so it seems only reasonable that on the two biggest plays of the game (a 4th and goal on the 1-inch line in the 3rd quarter and a 3rd and 3 in overtime) that they would attempt a couple of passes. Why not, right?

Holy moly. What a stupid game. Witt better be happy it has a week head start on the bash game. They looked terrible.

Why does Wabash give so many trash points up in the 4th qtr?   55-14 looked much better.....

Oh well.... great effort by a Bash team that had a ton of starters out this week.

Now we have to go over 60!
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Depauw QB throws a pick-six that breaks a 24-24 tie with under 2:00 remaining. They get the ball back, score, and successfully try a 2 point conversion for a one point win with 20 seconds left. Amazing.

This is the second week in a row they've pulled out a win in the final seconds (last week was with their defense). It's impressive to pull out games like that, in consecutive weeks no less...

They've all but clinched the AQ from the SCAC...

Watching the Trinity game today informed me that if you don't get pressure on Engle.... Koors will get open and kill ya.

Great performance today by the Little Giants.   A young team that got younger today with the injuries and they answered the call.  This speaks well to the depth Wabash brings to the table.   Nate Scola led the LG's in tackles.... glad to have that talented freshman on our side.

WAF!

I don't understand. Aren't the next two games in conference? If they drop both, and Millsaps wins out, DPU still goes?

BSC isn't a conference game yet.  They're still provisional.  DePauw only has SCAC game left.

By definition, unbeaten means no losses. They have beaten every SCAC team. Even if Austin beats them, they have the best conference record, ergo, they go!

I will clarify. Millsaps could tie DePauw if Millsaps wins out in conference and DePauw loses to Austin. Tie breaker would go to DePauw with their win over Millsaps. Regardless, DePauw won their conference today.

Big showdown in the NCAC coming up:

Kenyon at OWU

A game like this could have a huge impact on what jobs are available this spring.  I'm tuning in for sure.  When you put two teams together that really think they have a shot at a win, all kinds of crazy things happen and it usually comes down to the wire.  It's hard to believe a stadium that magnificent could be facilitating a pair of 0-8 teams.

Although, with those like me who have occasional Dyslexia, I could view it as match-up of 8-0 teams.   ;)
