Next season Witt replaces Olivet and Hiram with Capital and Huntingdon which should help the SoS. Expecting to hear Rocky Pentello has been granted 2 more years of eligibility.

Is Wabash seeking to replace Kenyon for week 5 next year?

My thought is ER knows. He's just not saying. Nor should he.

Why tip your hand? Keep Witt guessing.

It takes two to tango. Hiram probably wanted to boot Witt off of its schedule toot sweet. Right now I see Hiram with an open date but I think they can fill it.

Who would want to play Wabash in the middle of the conference season?

Will be the best game I see this year, regardless of division.  Also the wettest.
Is Belton a game time decision?  No Wabash notes on the game that I can find.

Nike - This article speaks to the game time decision.   The Weekly press release for the week of Nov. 3 can also be found on the Wabash website.  http://www.wabash.edu/sports/docs/ReleaseNov32010.pdf

Hopefully, this forecast is accurate and the rain will pass this evening.

Interesting statistic communicated on the ER Pre-game show for this week.

In the last two meetings between Wabash and Witt, the team that threw 4 interceptions ended up winning the game.   Wabash in 2008 and Witt last year.

I will still go with the percentages and say that it is probably not a wise strategy to throw 4 interceptions tomorrow.

bishopowu: Looking at Hiram in Delaware...Would like to see the Sr's play their last game at Selby and talk again with some of the parents. I'll let you know of my plans....It would be fun to speak with you & compare notes. OWU will have their hands full on Saturday...2 in a row would be great.
Good Luck to the Men of Wabash...Hope the LG's pull it out and qualify....

Just rewatched the 2002 game. What a great ballgame that was.

Man, Friday nights aren't what they used to be around my house.  :D

Thank you for the post, ol' tiger. It was a tremendous blow to all the Wabash family last January, and the "Old Wabash"  from  the players and coaches in attendance was touching.   This would have been Josh's junior year, and the first time he would have played in Springfield against the Tigers as probably a starter for the Llittle Giants. I hope that both teams do Josh pround with a hard fought, excellent game

The question wasn't would it happen, rather has Wabash tried to make it happen.

I would think Kenyon would be interested in replacing Wabash (3-40 this year).

I see three conferences with an odd number of teams who would potentially have mid-season open dates: MIAA (Trine), HCAC (Franklin), and IIAC (Central, Coe, Wartburg).

This season Wartburg had an open date week 5.
