When it comes down to two people of equal talent, it comes down to heart, I don't lose often when it comes to heart.

After hearing so many times about Wabash's weak league and weak schedule and how it doesn't prepare you like the SCAC...welcome to the NCAC boys.  Playing the likes of Millsaps and Trinity obviously didn't prepare you this year...

Thanks for that observation, Mr. Obvious. Anyone who pays attention knows that the SCAC was way down this year. Probably out of conference Adrian was DPU's toughest opponent.

EDIT: Excluding yesterday's game.  ;)

Nicely played - look forward to the contributions from Wes, Fripp, and yourself on this board!  ;)

You were looking at an older version (his first release before saturdays games). Try this one:

Bubble time! The 'weak' NCAC got stronger as the good teams took care of business and the UAA also did pretty well. If Wabash makes it, I think we need to thank Allegheny, Wooster,  and Chicago for taking care of business all season and improving.

apparently, the only reason Wabash beat Chicago (by 3 scores) was because they were missing their QB and a starting OL.  :-\ ;) I didn't know their QB and OT played defense too??

... and Witt's white jerseys shrank during the offseason making things awfully tight on the road.

Congrats to Wabash on the total demolition of Depauw; 500 yds to < 100 total offense incomprehensible going in. Hope it gets the appropriate attention and the amended projections become reality.

As a Witt fan, appreciate the congratulatory remarks and the support/defense on various other threads by the Wabash faithful. Your conference loyalty is unwavering.

Kudos to the Fighting Scots, players and coaches, on their effort yesterday. Flagg in particular was a treat to watch. Both he and Barnes are tough as shoe leather.

Unfortunately, our season is over, but at least we went out with a loud bang!

Good luck to Witt - very surprised to see them as a 5 seed and having to travel.  At least Ada isn't too far - just make sure the ride home is a happy one!

Yes, this Little Giant team definitely went out in dream fashion.

Witt needs to find that gear they found last year in the playoffs and do the NCAC proud!

Shocked that Depauw gets a 3rd seed after the beat down they suffered this weekend.

WAF!

Look forward to a great recruiting class and the returning experience that we have coming back.  Next year could be very special.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Witt vs ONU.....NCAC vs OAC...Just like the old days
The Battle of Indiana for Trine and DePauw
Franklin will have their hands full...Good Luck
I saw a 5-5 team St. Lawrence got in....What?

Automatic qualifier as a conference champ.  Their stay will be short.

Witt having to go on the road in Round One is BS.  If the justification is SOS, then it is ludicrous that the games against WashUStL and CMU don't count.  If the NCAC / UAA scheduling agreement is to be renewed, then it should be insisted upon that WashUStL and CMU be moved into the North Region.

Really, DePauw #3 in the North behind North Central and Whitewater???  That's where Witt should be.  Ridiculous.
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash

Replace "gets" with earned and it sounds even more ludicrous.

This Wittenberg/ONU game, like last year's Wabash/IWU matchup, is a great test to see where our league is. Can our champ hang with one of the OAC or CCIW's best? We'll find out. I suspect so after Witt's run this year.

I'm very surprised that Depauw got a higher seed than Witt after getting taken to the woodshed by a team Witt beat by 17. Maybe Witt will feel like they got something to prove this Saturday. Go get 'em Witt. Carry the NCAC banner proudly!

Here's to another great playoff. It ain't hoops season yet!   ;)
