Not to defend the Franklin College comments... but I will.   They had the Warhawks on the ropes early.  UWW didn't have anything and FC threw 2 ints...early or they would have gone into the half with the lead.  That's just calling it like virtually everyone that wasn't sipping too much kool-aid saw it.

Just like last year against Witt, UWW's coaching staff, depth and overall talent, came out of the locker room and took care of business in Warhawks fashion.   But, FC was ready to play today in the first half and it showed.

UWW is a great program and will again go far in this tourney, no need for disrespect.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Not football but news for the NCAc Conference:  Congratulations to the Wabash Cross Country Team on their 13th place finish in the NCAA National Cross Meet.  Some Little Giants !!!  Also a tip of the hat to Gheny ... 17th and OWU for 27th.

I noticed that too in the Springfield Paper with McKinley getting ejected in his last and final game for the Tigers...not a good way to go out and that will be with him for a long long time.  Wab64 - that would be interesting to know the tally on the 15 yarders...I think he had 3 as a Frosh at Hollett Stadium to bust on to the scene, he had 1 this year against Wabash in Springfield...

I am still shocked that Zoeller threw 7 picks.  I really thought Witt would make it a great game.

13 starters today were seniors for Witt.

You have to be proud of your dad.  He makes a difference ... and I don't see him "retiring" ... he owes us some players from up in Michigan to add to this year's Burke and Burish.  There are a couple of good ones on the line and I am sure he will pull them home.  My best to your dad and mom till the tailgates next fall.

ONU is certainly a very good team.  However, like you, I, too, thought that Witt would make a great game out of it. While some people duly pointed out their struggles at "away" games this year, again, I thought they would be like the Witt of "the old days", especially since it was the playoffs.  No disrespect to ONU intended; I guess I just expected a better game from them.

UWW was also playing with a back-up QB as starter Blanchard was out with a minor finger injury.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

TIGER WITT UP!!!!! Time to show the OAC what we're made of and the selection committee that they made a serious mistake by disrespecting Wittenberg

70's is more Dionne Warwick than Deion Sanders.

Pretty sure I could still beat Dionne in the open field, not so much Deion

Congrats to Franklin for an excellent season and an excellent game against UWW.
I was at the game and in no way do I think Franklin is average.  You have a very talented team and excellent coaching- the post game interview showed the class of your coach.

I am hopeful that the experience UWW gained in playing your no huddle spread offense and tough run defense will go a long way in preparing them for Trine.

FC was definately a worthy opponent and better than any 7 seeds I've seen play.
