Dankie!  The team isn't the only entity suffering game one jitters.  Will refrain from some new-found Afrikaans verrnacular aside from equating the links as "kak" - back to gearing up for the US vs Ireland at Taranaki Stadium in 8 hours.  @#3 - home done limoncello, gemsbok loin, and wild mushroom risotto if ya ever premier your piece in the southern hemi.

Just saw Wesley lost.  That got me up out of my chair a little.  Suddenly, there's a little bit of a Pool B race here...

This Ustream outfit is pathetic. Picture freezes during the second 'Bash audio not coordinated with the video.

Who made the decision to use Stream. A whole year of these colowns at the present rate would suck big time.

Should have proof read my post. - Picture froze when the 'Bash was scoring second TD. Audio didn't match up with video.

This old geezer thanks you for your kind understanding.

From the Cheesebarn...stinks that the delay went down when it did and there was a LOT of barking about it. Let's remember that those guys are just doing their job...don't believe the weather delay is discretionary. They didn't have a choice, fans. Could they have wrapped up those last 80 seconds? Yep. But that wasn't an option.

Much, much more from today once I make the journey back to Lafayette.  Here's a tease...I'm going to talk at length about the defense. Very favorably.

Sloppy win but I'll take it and run.  There was no doubt who the better team was.  I still think Bash fans walk away with a lot of bright spots...
- I think we have some running backs this year.  Holmes is a load and I love the burst on Hunt and Rowe.
- CJ and Scola did not disappoint.
-The Hodges looked good too - Houston (big INT) is going to be lights out for 4 LONG years.
- I thought we won the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball today.
- Wes back in the return game!
- our WR's made Chase look very good on multiple catches - Horn is a freak, Kraus and Hildebrand were quiet but will get going.  Wes + our TE's...loaded targets.

Clean up the penalties (some were sketchy at best!), eliminate the bad throws, and we'll be rolling.

agree with BB16.  defense was mid season against sn extremely slippery QB.  and D will only get better.  thought Belton was hot ... as in when he is hot something good can happen and sometimes when he is hot ...Man why did you do that.  but this is the first game.  Chase will be just fine and we will run into some games now where we get to 1) work on timing under game conditions and 2) get the second group ready to seamlesly step in.  loved watching RBs who all seemed ready and able.  lets get the kicking (as in reliable FG and extra point) down to where it is rote.  noted that Woo was extremely concious of possible punt block ... last year's group is still a shadow on the field.  Get Brady back from injured reserve and receivers are always fresh.  Wes being on the field 1) gives Chase great comfort in  almost all situations and 2) draws so much atention that our other very able receivers have good opportunities.

and the video sucked sucked sucked

I also thought at a point in the 3rd Q ... you began to see the air go our of WOO ... as in they came to the realization that Wabash would beat them 5 times out mof 5.  I hope they do not do that against Witt.  Good first game win and should be a fun group to watch ... mark Nov 5 on your calendar and be there or be square.
