Regardless of what the final scores are in Greencastle and Crawfordsville, my thoughts on next Saturday haven't really changed.  It's going to have to be a slobberknocker for DePauw to have a chance.  I'm uncertain that DePauw is going to be able to manufacture even one scoring drive.  That DPU defense has been good for most of the year.  If they can hold Wabash in check and make one play, they're going to have a chance.

If that game goes any other way, DePauw's chances of winning will be much smaller.

EDIT: 7-3 DePauw leading with 9 minutes left.  Albion had probably their best drive of the day stall at the 20 on a 3rd down sack.

Wabash and Witt exchange fumbles at the Witt 30 yard line.  Wabash ball, 12:21 4Q, still 21-10

C'mon Wabash, 2 more procedure penalties, geez

Wabash misses a 21 yard chip shot FG attempt

Another HUGE sack by the Wabash D, Witt facing 4th and 19 at their own 11 yard line

Witt punt blocked by Kyle Najar, TD Wabash!  Wabash 28 - Witt 10, 7:05  4Q

Oberlin 23 OWU 22 blocked extra point 5 mins to go in the game

DPU3619

DePauw gets out of there with a win.  7-3.  They almost snapped it over the punter's head with 2 minutes go.  Got about a 20 yard punt out of the deal, but the D held.

Wabash D is having a monster game.  4 sacks in the second half.  Another 4th and 17 for Witt, punt back to Wabash, 5:34 left.

Najar's punt block was his second of the game.

Congrats to DPU on a tough win against a playoff-bound team today.

Final in Delaware...

OWU 30 Oberlin 23

OWU scores the go ahead touchdown with a QB sneak with 50 Seconds left in the game and get the 2 point conversion with a pass from Espinosa to Eric Wall.

Oberlin drove at the end of the game got the ball down to the Bishop 25 but the ball was picked off my LB Tyler Sheetz.

OWU has themselves a winning streak....When was the last time OWU had a winning streak?

B-W leading Mount Union 20-19 5:47 4Q  :o

Mount Union led 19-0 at 4:29 in the 3Q

Mount moving down to the B-W 35

Big 4th down play coming up at the B-W 29

TD pass from Piloto to Denton between two defenders in the end zone !!!!!

Mount back in front 25 - 20, 2:18 left

B-W in Mount territory, about 0:40 left

And B-W turns it over on downs, even the Mount radio broadcasters acknowledge that there should have been a penalty called on the final play against Mount for pass interference

Also to add from the game in Delaware...

This is OWU's first winning streak since 2009...WOW

In the last couple of years (I could only find past schedules on Docsports.com) I do not know where to find past OWU schedules. But the Bishops have beaten Kenyon 4X, Denison 2X, Allegheny 1X, Hiram 4X, and Oberlin 2X

As much as I'll take the win at Selby today...keep the perspective of Oberlin football.
They are very...VERY under-manned. And luckily..the Yeoman fumbled at the Bishop 2 yardline at the end
of the 1st half. The character of some of the Bishops was inspiring...Huddleston played an outstanding
game (plays w/one hand/broken hand)...Espo shows flashes of being very good. Looks like a 4-6 season.
I liked Oberlin TE, Danny Enright...big target at 6'7" 250 lbs....soft hands and plays basketball...
Remind anyone at Wabash of another big guy that played basketball and got into a Super Bowl(s)..
Wat to go LG's.....GO BISHOPS

First, congrats to the seniors. To close out as champions must be so special. This class of seniors has won a lot of games. They deserve much respect. Thank you seniors.

Congratulations to the coaching staff. I could tell that Coach Raeburn was still seething about last year's game against Witt during the pregame show. You could just see it in his face. The offense shoved it down Witt's throat, the defense was awesome, and special teams blocked two punts, one for a score. The entire staff deserves kudos. I know this staff will have the team ready for the Bell Game.

The work is not done. Yes, we know there will be playoffs, but first comes the work of keeping that Bell for one more year. Seniors, dig deep. Lead this team. Go out with the Bell. What happens after that in the playoffs happens. You will remember your last Bell Game forever. Go win it.

And Depauw:

You are next.

I agree with you AUEAGLE...Oberlin is very undermanned. You have to feel for them. They played good today and let OWU back into the game. Oberlin is a very good Football team. Injuries have hurt them. Their QB did not start the game but came in and played very well. I agree with you ill take this victory as well but I do not think it was a game OWU should have won. Huddleston did play very well with a couple sacks with his broken hand. If only we had a full team of them and coaches like Huddleston.

Hopefully there is not a let down to the Puppies. But you never know in this league.

Okay. So. Can we all agree that we're giving the POY award to Belton?

That first half was incredible. And it had a lot to do with the play of 13.
