I have to agree with cigarstore that invoking autism as an insult is really offensive, BashDad. And I say this as someone who has heretofore been very impressed by the depth and reasoning of your posts this week.

Maybe someone who goes by a screen name of "cigar store indian" shouldnt be so easily offended.

I'm not really sure why you're addressing this to me rather than him.

Both parties that were originally involved in this have exchanged apologies with a lot of class. I think it is time to concetrate now on what will be the game of the year so far, in Crawfordsville!  8-)

North Central got beat by Redlands who got stomped by MHB.....  Does this mean MHB is that much better than NCC?   Stop with all of this who beat who; who beat who by how much ....BS......  It is just not realistic...... You CCIW posters are better than that.

I see where you're coming from. In context, it has nothing to do with a culture or people. Rather, it has to do with the wood or plastic Indian that one would often find at a cigar store. Any defensive player who Played under Wienke would understand it. Out of context, I agree, it looks kind of bad.

A classic example of Wabash always fighting typographical and grammatical errors.  Thanks!  Fun fact...... CJ Gum turns off spell check and grammar check.  Doesn't need 'em.  He's THAT good.

Chamblee, Horn and secret weapon James Kraus are tough receivers to bottle up. Kraus' stats don't look like much because normally either Chamblee or Horn were open and Belton found them.

Now I would tell NC to look at the DePauw game film where Belton was just 2-11 but our main two running backs were averaging 7.4 and 6.2 YPC and it was a defense / special teams effort. Allegheny bottled up the run but the passing game took over when it counted.

Looking at North Central's stats, in games where they scored the least points it was a classic 'grind-it-out' game. I don't think there's any illusion on what NC will do - run and then mix in the pass when it's opportune. It's beautiful because that's Wabash's strengh vs. NC's strength, and what could be better than that?

North Central will fumble the ball four times.  8-)  Wabash will convert these turnovers into 21 points.

Let's just hope for no thunderstorm delays. We don't have to worry about mud or grubs anymore with the new turf!
