I do remember that, hilarious for sure.  He may have started for North Park because they played Benedictine tough who beat U Chicago who knew Kevin Bacon who dated Jennifer Garner who graduated from Denison but they got crushed by Wabash who lost to Mount Union in 2002 and Mount lost to Whitewater a couple of times and Illinois College beat Millikin.  AND my dad's bigger than your dad!

Wheaton head coach Mike Swider knows good defenses.

He sent two defensive players to the NFL, plays North Central annually and has regular preseason scrimmages against Wabash. Because the Thunder have lost to Mt. Union six times in the playoffs, it's high praise for Swider to suggest North Central's defense is nearing the Purple Power:

"They've got depth and they've got speed. Every single kid on the team can run. ... Here's the biggest thing that you've got to do. You cannot get penalized, because once you get in long yardage, it's over. So you've got to be good on first down, and that's the critical, critical down. Once they get you in any bad situation, they just overwhelm you. ... Those three defensive linemen — (Valente) Garza, (Willie) Hayes and (Peter) Bulandr — they're fast, they get up field. They've got depth. They're all good, and they all can run. They play with an edge. ... They've got a good shot [in the playoffs]. When you can play defense and special teams, you've got a shot to beat anybody. And that's what they do. ... In our conference, they've dominated this year like few have ever dominated."

Based on all the numbers and stats and post on all the boards, Wabash may as well not even show up for the game. We are out matched, out manned and we don't stand a chance. NCC has dominated (except for the first game of the season) like no one else in history and they are on their way to the Stagg Bowl. Blah, blah, blah....

Oh, I will be there. If you are planning on tailgating, you will find that the Wabash fans will treat you well. You will have a great time at our stadium. I am not sure that the game will turn out as you would like, however if it does your experience will not be ruined by any foolishness. Have safe travels to the game.

USee is completely not an NCC guy.  He's a Wheaton guy and not one of the Cardinal brethren.  I would love to see him in NCC pajamas and the spirit pillow though!  Looking forward the the Little Brass Bell game next year when little "Cardinal USee" comes through the gates at Wheaton!     USee is an unbiased observer that brings an incredible wealth of football knowledge.  He is not posting for boasting purposes I assure you!  We will welcome the "Pain Train" and hope it is everything it is hyped as.  It will make for an incredible football game!  Your last quote is right on the money.  Final scores are for winners.
