Belton did not start; Wabash stopped NCC on first drive; Burke throws interception at own 42.  Wabash stops NCC; commits penalty on punt (another turnover essentially); NCC drives 30 yds to score.  NCC 7 - Wabash 0;

I saw a football writer say that there should be a stat called "Derps" where they count things like penalties that negate punts.

End of 1st QTR: NCC 7 - Wabash 0

NCC driving after long punt return; Wabash Defense playing well; special teams and good NCC defense bottling up Wabash.  Two turnovers are the key so far.

Just isn't the same with Burke in there.  Not even close.  That Wabash offense can't move it at all.

I know offenses that can't move it, and this is one of them.

Your defense isn't doing much better...

might as well include your special teams too...

Just coming in and sitting down with some family to watch a great game and Wabash already down 0-21.  Did they say why Belton is not playing?  Am assuming knee was hurt against Witt and he gutted it out in Depauw game and knee got worse.
What a sick feeling, although I know it is just a game.  More requests this year to help out families over Thanksgiving than ever before. So we are all still blessed.
But was looking forward to a good game with the boys watching NCAC football.  Thought with Wabash at full strength they had a shot at winning today.  Looking for a huge second half.  I know Burke can throw, so with the kinks worked out in the first half, get the ball to Chamblee and Horn and let's go!

At half, NCC 21 - Wabash 0;

NCC drives approx. 70 yards on ground (with one 45 yard run) to score with 1:50 left in 1st half.  The NCC defense has kept the Wabash offense off of the field.  NCC is going to wear down the Wabash defense if this keeps up.  TOP (time of possession) for NCC is huge, approx two-to-one as Wabash has had only 4 first downs in the 1st half.

Interesting to see what Wabash does in the 2nd half; not sure if they have an answer for the NCC running attack.  Good luck.  LGs.

Wabash Always Fights!!

Isn't my defense, but thanks anyway.

A few players for Wabash are indespensable.  Belton is one of them.  Sure NCC has a couple players like that.

I guess that explains why he wasn't moved to RB. . .
