What does it matter how bad Wabash beat CMU or how bad witt lost to Hobart.  We are talking about the NCAC and NCAC play.

wally_wabash

Which is all well and good except Wabash and Witt didn't play the same schedule. Wabash got to play a 9 win OWU team and Witt got to play Hiram instead. Do you think that difference maybe has an effect on the conference only stats?  Because I kinda do.

Yea, the same way playing two playoff team might effect the stats.  Hobart and Heidelberg were imho, much better teams than OWU.

wally_wabash

Wait, so now games outside of league play count?  I'm confused.  ???

Bashdad,

I could do the same thing and post Wabashs loses.  BTW, I am an NCAC fan not a Witt so you're not hurting my feelings.  I saw both teams play last year and there is Nothing that makes me think Wabash was the better team....

BTW, I don't think Oberlin was the better team when they beat Wabash by 15 at Wabash.  However, Like the Wittenburg vs. Wabash game the score says differently.

wally_wabash

Who did Heidelberg beat last year?

Anyway....look, I AGREE. Wittenberg is really good. They are going to be heavy favorites per the polling that happens in a little bit. I don't think, and I'm going to be in the minority,  they are demonstrably better than Wabash or OWU. Can we have three really good teams in the league? I think we can. I think it will be fun.

So you watched the game in Springfield? Or no? I'm guessing you didn't.

I am hoping for a great season by all 3.  OWU will be very very good in the about 2 more season!  I think they will pass the other two up by 2015.  Now here's to hoping Wooster gets going too.

And now it got creepy. I might be able to sleep with the lights off again sometime around 2016.

wally, you know as well as I do that there is no place for logic unless it supports the argument one is trying to make.

Did he delete his account? That seems severe.

wally_wabash

Yeah...not really a proportional response.  I didn't even think we were that bad this time.  Former pick 'em champ and a solid contributor...I hope short reconsiders.
