Hell, I don't know. I could see quarters, too. Who knows. How you give three quarterbacks equal opportunity to, like, perform in a game like this is, well, beyond me.

Didn't Illinois or some team rotate QBs by play a few years back- basically ran in the play with the QB?

Stray thought:

I'm surprised by my own indifference towards not having a starting quarterback. Like, truly, I don't really care. My reaction to the hypothetical possibility that they could alternate every play? Glee. I got excited. A buffet of quarterbacks. Sign me up. I don't know. I don't get the sense that other people are wringing their hands over it either, which seems meaningful.

BB#16---See you at the Game.  It's not like I'm saying that Wabash is going to lose or anything.  One factor not much discussed in the last two days is the the health of the Hanover QB.  They played basically two-thirds of last week without him.  (And not saying that they would have won with him there all game.)  Britt is pretty good, and the game will be different depending on whether he plays or they have to throw in the freshman QB.  Britt  shows as #1 on their two-deep, but we all know what means.  Or do they pull him if he is on the run for his life or gets dinged early? Again, I say it's not Raeburn's style to drop a huge number on anyone (DPU excepted) unless strange thing occur late in the game.  As to keeping the offense rolling so the QB race becomes clearer, well, that's a good argument.
By the way, watch for a new way that Wabash has shown snapping the ball.  Looks somewhat like the silent snap procedure employed by the pros where the guard taps the center to start the play.  I don't know if they will use it, but they have rehearsed it.

At long last the wait is over. It's Game Day!

Couldn't agree more here. Most often when a team rotates qbs or RBs, nobody gets into the flow of the game and everybody suffers. The lone exception that comes to mind is 2010 Monon Bell. Didn't matter on that afternoon. We'll see.

And this here.  I don't think anybody is concerned that Wabash hasn't picked one guy. Or even that they will.  Maybe I've falsely talked myself into believing that quarterback is a fairly interchangeable part of this offense and I'm way off here.

The sophomore Putko is getting the start for the Bash.

Hanover's offense is going to be out-matched so significantly it will hardly matter who is under center for Wabash. The scores are going to come on short fields, turnovers, and special teams. I will be astounded if Wabash runs, say, 30 plays in the first half. Which is all good, but could prove somewhat frustrating if the intention is to hold open tryouts for QB. I don't think we'll learn much.

Gheny using two different QB's in Pittsburgh. One clearly a runner/wildcat type and the other to run base offense. Both getting a little movemet but no scores yet. CMU leading 7-0 with two minutes remaining in second quarter.

Gheny TD on Hail Mary to end first half. 7-7 halftime.
