Wabash's Defense and special teams has masked Wabash's problem all year....   If we can't run... we can't move.

Today... thus far...  Our defense and special teams has not shown up....   and thus,  our offense has had to rise up.... there is just not the talent to do this against a team like Witt.    Our inexperience at QB is showing.

Reed Florence is an All-American, if I have ever seen one.

Thus, far..... we are being exposed big time.

Nice screen call for Witt to get in. It's not gone well in any of the phases. Gonna be 28-3 at half.

Florence is carving. I've never seen a really good zone team like Wabash struggle so badly with an even front. It's just 4 down linemen and 2 backers. Witt has brought some pressure, but that should be handled. Specials have been really uninspiring as well.

Minute to go in the half. 3rd and 12 at Witt's own 17. They call 4 verts and have a guy running wide open down the seam. Now they're threatening to score again. Been that kind of day.

Wabash's strategy of calling timeouts after the first two downs comes back to bite them in the butt.  Witt was willing to run out the half but with the timeouts, Witt's long third down conversion put them in scoring position with time on the clock.   Just one of those days so far.  No matter what Wabash tries, Witt has the answer.  Witt is playing well and Wabash is not stepping up.

We are going to have to see a North Central-type comeback in the 2nd half.   Don't know if Wabash has the offensive capability to do it.   We will soon see.

EDIT: 14-7 DePauw now. There's the Lynch I remember. They probably called power 7 times on that 10 play scoring drive. DePauw is without Sansone today, as well.

I think the defensive recipe is there. Witt's offense exploded. I don't expect anything like this next week from DePauw's offense, BUT, it's kinda like I said on the Monon board. If you make Wabash try to put long drives together, you'll keep them in check. Defensively, you have to bring pressure with backers and do some twisting and stunting. Wabash has not handled Witt's front 7 AT ALL today.

EDIT: DePauw gets a fumble deep in Hiram's end. Settles for 3. 24-7 now. 7mins in the 4th.

To what are you referring about fan conduct during CP's injury?  Were they jeering CP or simply cheering for their defense?  Cannot tell on broadcast.

Regarding Twitter - don't understand why anyone even pays attention to that crap.  If it pisses you off, don't follow it.   Why let someone else's ignorance bother you?  It is just vomit in the guise of 0's and 1's.
