Sounds like more spin to me. Witt fans...

No, dude you're off base.  I've already found three occasions where the p-b-p would indicate that Wittenberg had gone down the depth chart at least for the entire fourth quarter, if not more of the second half.  I'm sure there are more occasions, but I'm done looking at this.  I'm not sure why we can't congratulate Nate on his deserved award without havng to add in a bunch of yeah buts about Witt.  There are no yeah buts...he won the award.  There's nothing to qualify.

The only thing saving me from picking Franklin to be Whitewater is the disaster that occured in Bluffton, Ohio a couple weeks ago. Had that NOT (edit) occured, I'd probably pick them.

We all have a right to be silly. Looks like Bluffton saved you from exercising that right in this one. Franklin will never "be" Whitewater.  I'm assuming you meant it literally since you edited the post elsewhere.  ;D

I didn't, I'm just dumb. I meant beat, which about 3 weeks ago I thought was definitely possible.

And please, show some grammar and punctuation skills. It's hard to read a bunch of claptrap that's rife with sentence fragments, et. al.

I mean, I know I post a lot of claptrap, but at least I try to make it legible!  ;)

A cursory glance at Witt's stats indicate a lot of tackles recorded by guys that didn't play all 10 games and weren't on offense. When its blowout city, either the other team is passing, making it hard to make tackles when passes clank to the ground incomplete - or they're in 'let's just get the heck out of here' mode where teams just take their time and don't run a lot of plays.

The regulars on this board would have noticed if a stud was running around making plays late in a blowout. We've called teams out on that before, especially Witt! But that's not the case this year - it makes no sense, really. Would you risk an injury to a starter in a five touchdown game in the second half?

Great job to all of the little giants who got honors this week... Also congratulations. To nate scola for getting defensive player of the year.... I no scola was taking out of a lot of games early do to the giants being up big early in a lot of games... I wonder fellow Wallys what numbers scola could of really got for Wabash... If D3 football gives out any defensive awards this year scola should be a strong candidate... The numbers he put out are amazing considering he was taking out of some games... If the facts are right from what I heard Witt played all there starters in every game the whole way.... Wabash didn't....... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Your hearsay facts are not right.  The starters may have played in some games longer than they should have, especially our defensive starters, but in games that were one-sided (most of them) they did not play the whole way.

Congrats to all players who were selected for Post-Season honors. The NCAC if filled with quality players and young men.

Wes, I have a sneaking suspicion you weren't the intended recipient of that comment.

One good thing about this foolishness, Witt posters are appearing out of the woodwork.

Completely agree, hopefully we will get some good representation on the All-Region/All-American teams.

Oh, Wes. I know you work in the tee vee - where erudition is lost to the old world of Buckley and Susskind, but you weren't who I was complaining about!

To the Witt folks, good luck in your scrimmage tomorrow.   See you in Alliance next week.   Mount/Witt should be a real good one.
