I am Kickoff ready.  Should probably alert my employer to lower productivity expectations for the latter half of next week.

I am not Kickoff ready. Please don't alert my employer to lower productivity from the past week. :)

Nice article, thanks for sharing. +1

I kind of wish the Witt/Wabash game was in September like it will be next year. Have to think Witt will be fine by the time they host Wabash in November.

I'm looking for some NCAC insider information.  Hanover is headed all the way to Hiram College to scrimmage the Terriers this Saturday afternoon.  From the looks of the campus via Google Maps Satellite View, it looks pretty compact without a lot of parking around the football stadium.

Anyone from the NCAC have any experience where visiting teams' fans congregate for tailgating, or can give other advice related to the campus?

Any help would be appreciated!

The last time I visited Hiram we tailgated in a parking lot directly behind the (West?) end zone.  There was plenty of space, and I imagine that for a scrimmage you would be fine.  What I don't know is if HC now designates an area for visiting tailgating, or even if that parking lot still exists or has been appropriated for some other purpose.  But you are correct, the campus is compact.

Well,  very little information coming out of Little Giant's Camp this year.....   Need great reports from the scrimmage from those who are attending.    I wonder if the initial game being a big one has contributed to the lack of behind the scenes chatter.

Of all of my years following this great program,  I have never seen it so quiet a week and a half out.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Kickoff is up!

And let's just say...they seem to agree with wally's opinion on the order that the W's will finish in the NCAC...

I'll not give away anything more, since the funds from Kickoff are a necessary driver for this site, and really: anyone that hasn't purchased it should absolutely spend the $11 (or $8 with a ".edu" email address).  It's significantly better than most of the preview magazines you can buy in stores are for Division I football.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

If any of you wander into Hollett on August 30 ... check out two Rhynes (Freshmen) from Michigan .... YES another Buresh  ... Dylan.. He is 6'5" and 205 TE.  And Ryan Walters at 5'11' and 181 at DB.  Ryan is from Lowell HS ... where football starts in the second grade it seems and always ends up at a state championship game.  Both of these guys are gamers.  PLUS we have the potential to see 3 Bureshes in the same game (2 at LB and 1 at TE). ... harks back a number of years to the 5 Henry boys.  ALSO ... NOTE:  there is still a Buresh at home.

Got a little light headed thinking about the tuition bill the Buresh family pays.

Ten days to kickoff.  Not to be confused with Kickoff, which released yesterday and is a great way to spend the next ten days.   :)

We're closing in on full blown analysis, predictions, and all around hot air blowing about The Gentlemen's Classic.  Going to be a fun week coming up here.

The annual scrimmage between Wabash and Wheaton is this Saturday in C'ville. Any reports or insights from the Little Giant faithful are appreciated.

I'll be there on Saturday, USee.  I'll have notes here when it's all over.

Hard to believe only 8 days till the Gentleman's Classic and you could here a pin drop in here. Guess I was thinking there might be a little more banter between two of the better teams in DIII. Anyway, it will be fun to see the LGs Saturday scrimmage against a very good Wheaton team, how the returning players progressed over the summer, and how the new blood looks.
