Our future at that position is very bright.

Listening to the broadcast with Jim Amidon and Steve Hoffman last weekend, it was mentioned that Wabash did not have a healthy QB available going into the last red squad game and they basically drew up a wildcat offense fifteen minutes before kickoff (and won).

After seeing Partridge today, an argument could be made that he is as good a QB as there is in the NCAC.
WOW! Go Hiram!
He played well against Wooster, except for 3 picks.
Will wait until next week to get expert commentary from Wabash folks.  He looked very good today.  Even had a game winning drive at the end. One thing is obvious.  He is a passer first, not a scrambler.

No need to wait until Hiram and Wabash play on Saturday.  Partridge is plenty good.  Really good, in fact.  Seeing a player of his caliber is a great lead in to Witt week.

Regarding Red Squad games, I just noticed that DePauw beat Wabash in a Red Squad game 14-10 at DePauw.  Is this a further sign of their resurgence or did we play so many guys vs Allegheny that our normal Red Squad team was not illegible to play?

Since there is no serious contention over the win/loss issue by most on this board... Odds as to which team scores first. I give 9/2 Hiram 2/1 Wabash

Hiram College wins the inter-collegiate basketball world championship at the World's Fair Universal Exposition Olympic Games in St. Louis, Missouri. Final score: Hiram, 25; Latter Day Saints University, 18.

Don't sell yourself short, HCAlum86.  Wabash is firing on all cylinders this year and is unlikely to let up next week against your Terriers, but this is the league that saw an undermatched Oberlin team beat a ranked Wooster team with Sutton Sutton Oh My Sutton and Wabash a couple years ago.  Spirits should be flying high after the big win at OWU last week, too.

Saw Wally's line at Wabash -38.5.  Wabash will be overwhelming I believe - pass rush, speed, coverage, and I believe will force Partridge in to some crucial mistakes.  Look at his numbers against Witt.  Credit to Hiram for their improvement but it will be very tough sledding Saturday against the LG's.

Smeds - I can't reveal the source but a buddy of mine saw your prediction that the Terriers will throw up 21.  His comment was "that's insane."  Haha, we shall see.

The Wabash O has so many ways to score.  Add the new mix of Rice and that's another twist.  Bash averages over 47 per game and 254 per game on the ground.  Holmes, Zurek, Hodges, Christen, Putco, Rice.......  Yikes.

Hiram scores 21 and I eat my shoe.

Just spitballin' it. Was thinking they'd cover the spread so was trying to get there as I did my picks in a huff between meetings. I also said ("or something...") So it's not in violet.

Of course, I was the only one to say that Kenyon would cover the spread....

The game will be similar to the Witt game in my opinion. (48-0)  Partridge will find it very hard to pass other than the short stuff,  they won't be able to run and our defensive pressure will cause a few int's.   Maybe ER gives them a late score..

Hiram and Partridge are a great story this year.... but,  lets not get ahead of ourselves and say Hiram will score as much as anyone has scored on us this year.  Not happening.

Honestly, they will be doing great to get 10 points against Wabash. I doubt very seriously they're going to score the same points against Wabash that Hampden-Sydney did. Hiram is improved but it's not HSC.

Frankly, I was just thinking about the spread when I made the pick...I didn't want the Truthers to think I was abandoning the cause because I picked Hiram to cover it so I threw a score out there!

I was wondering if there were any opinions on two games for this weekend. DePauw-Wooster and Denison-Oberlin. I am making my yearly pilgrimage to Wooster(I'm a Stewart) and thought I would catch my favorite small college team (Denison) as well. Will Wooster be able to give DePauw a game or I am just going for the band? I am thinking that the Denison-Oberlin game might be a good one. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I think the better game will be DPU - Wooster. Will the good Wooster show up, or the struggling one?

I believe Denison should handle the Yeomen with relative ease.

Well I hope the good Wooster shows up this week. I hope the same with Denison also. Oh and no offense Wabash but go Terriers.
