That video is great. I would really like to see throwback unis with those winged helmets behind the big "1954" at 0:26.

Thanks, SaintsFAN!  The star of that article is the mock bracket, though.  That's a fun, fun looking bracket to me.

As Pat said -- your selections were the driving force behind the bracket.  Congrats again.  And yes, that bracket is very intriguing -- the only way it would be better in my eyes would be for Thomas More to have beaten W&J earlier in the year.  But you know..

Hey, you never know- Thomas More might be ranked fifth in the South Saturday night.  There are no rules on that particular list.   :)

that is true -- if you can forecast what the West Region and South Region RC's will be thinking this weekend, I'll also want to know the lottery numbers for PowerBall next week.  sheesh.

I was thinking the same thing - interesting to see the "Wolverine" helmet in red and white.

Is the "Wabash Chapel" a weekly all-school assembly?

Yes. It used to be mandatory and daily. Then it wasn't mandatory and rarely happened. Now it's not mandatory but many people come weekly.

Absolutely terrific. The places that often hold a special spot in our hearts are those that become a part of us. Those young men at Wabash have certainly allowed that school into their life in a significant way and that's awesome.

Wally --

Nice job on the projections and your debut as the D3Football Official Bracketologist (now that its on the Front Page)

Wabash hosting Franklin with UMHB as the "prize" in the second round.  Will certainly be fun if that projection proves correct.

The idea of a Wabash playoff a two hour drive from me has me giddy. Been wanting to see UMHB's new stadium anyway.

According to some friends at Hood, it's quite a place.  However, there's a stumbling block before the playoff pairings and after last week no LG's fan should be looking beyond tomorrow afternoon.

I wish everyone would stop talking playoffs and keep thinking about winning on Saturday.   Without that any playoff talk is premature.  The LGs aren't playing tame tigers this year.
Do I expect a win:  yes.  But it's not mail-in time.

I realize there is no way of telling, however, do any of you have a prediction (guestimate) as to how large the attendance will be at the big game (Monon Bell Game) tomorrow?  Although it will be cold, I can't imagine that the crowd size will be hindered much due to that, simply because of it being "the game". ;)  Best wishes to both teams.  Hopefully, it will be a great game and not a blow-out or implosion by either team.

I'm not sure what the total ticket number was this year. I'd guess it'll be right around 10,000 tomorrow, Doc.

We do know that parking lots adjacent to (and further out) from the Hollett have been packed since Wednesday.
