The Centennial is probably overstated in Massey somewhat because of this, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities that JHU could really give Wesley a game, like last year.

I'll put my bracket picks up here sometime tomorrow (because my picks have been oh-so good all year...may as well embarrass myself one more time  :)) but I'm going to disagree with this.  I think Wesley is really, really, really good.  I think there's a Grand Canyon sized gap between Hopkins and Wesley.  And I think Hopkins is really good.  But Wesley is going to beat them like dirty rug- the Wolverines are that good.

Agreed.  I'm firmly in the "this is Wesley's best shot" camp.  They have incredible athletes all over both sides of the ball.

Is it Saturday yet?   Can't work....my clients and my staff must think I am drinking.   Saturday needs to get here.
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

I just a few minutes ago told a Wally coworker "Can we just skip to Saturday already".

By the way, the preview and game notes are up.

Franklin is starting a freshman center.

I see Justin Woods is only on the depth chart as a backup punt returner.  I assume that after the ugly injury last week he is out?

Will that frosh be freaking by the 2nd quarter?  I think their senior is out with injury.

How bad ass that both Zurek and Holmes made 1st team!  Both Buresh brothers!!  Akinribade's 4th straight 1st team!  Congrats to all NCAC selections

Is that bad?

Totally fine by me.

I'm sure it's fine with Franklin too.

The poor bastard has 5 games of experience. That's not yipee for the Grizzlies.

Rutter and McCullen lined up over the top and then AJ and/or Ludwig maybe looking to shoot a gap.  Yeah, he's got this.  No sweat.

The D front he's facing hasn't played anyone though and haven't won playoff games the last 3 years.

How's this, you think he will be comfortable with the multiple looks we will get?  How about the one I call "chaos" where every dude starts from a 2-point in whatever gap?  One of my favorite things to watch from this front 7 is how well they time their blitzes and how fast they get off the ball.

Even in Wabash's one loss, it wasn't like the defense wasn't doing its job. There was one drive. HSC had a couple big plays. DPU had that big play that went splat at the end, and is now a Monon MemoryTM.

If Wabash can contain big plays, then Franklin's not going to be able to succeed.

I agree, and I think the higher the aggregate score goes, the higher Franklin's chances of success go.
