Make it five INTs for Wesley.

JCU rolling Centre 35-7.

W&J still up on Witt 17-3 late in the 2nd.

Ithaca up on Hobart 12-0 late in the 2nd.

Well that drive sucked, LGs... 3 negs in a row?  Christ in a Mopbucket, thank goodness for the Flock.

I didn't get to see the first half because I was working, but from what I've heard and seen so far Franklin's offense has shown glimpses of how good they are but Wabash is getting enough pressure on Welp to prevent the Grizzlies from lighting the scoreboard up. Two passes inside the 20 that would have been a TD and a 26-21 score affected just enough by the Wabash line. Good game so far but I don't like what the scoreboard says right now :(

Franklin's offense has been darned impressive, GG.  Welp is a serious warrior.

Much better drive, Wabash... Pound the Rock.  WAF

Witt's tough draw in manifesting itself. I think they're cursing Waynesburg for beating W&J!

Jenkins has 7 turnovers. 6 picks.

Welp took a pounding there at the end of the game. You would think down 3 scores with a minute left the coach would have some mercy on the QB and hand the ball off.

I was impressed with Welp. Dude is tough. He stayed in and took hits to get the passes off a lot in that 2nd half. You could see the effect those hits had on him but he kept going. Just too much pressure from the Wabash D.

Weird game by the Wabash offense though. Not a lot of flow. Had success when they ran with Holmes and  Zurek but then would go away from the run.

I hope Zurek sat out out of precaution and his injury isn't serious. Also, tough for Franklin with all their injuries. I hate to see that.

All in all a solid win. Wabash's offense is going to need to be sharper next week. Can't come away from red zone opportunities empty handed against UWW and have a chance at winning.

WAF!

JCU rolled 63 on Centre. I think if there's a MTU / JCU rematch there will be blood.

Eight INT's for Jenkins, tying the NCAA record, also set today by St. Scholastica's QB.

Well, it was hard to tell if Whitewater looked extremely beatable or just took their foot off of the gas a little bit against Macalaster. Nonetheless, it will be an exciting matchup next week!

Wheaton also has not impressed me thus far against Benedictine.

And it seems as if most of our scorelines are close to on point as far as Wabash/Franklin!

Both, UWW only had starters in for the first series or two of the second half, backups are in now and they're not returning punts either. UWW always calls off the dogs a lot earlier then other teams.

The big concern for Wabash is the health of Zurek, then the lack of offensive continuity. I think the defense has enough depth to help cover for injuries. Whitewater, of course, is a different beast than Franklin or Wittenberg.

Thanks for the insight! I figured as much.
