For Warhawk and Wabash fans ... great late November weather for Saturday's D3 Round 2 game at the Perk. Weather.com is forecasting 40 degrees and partly cloudy. See you on Saturday!!!

Believe that when I see it  :)
Meteorologists don't have to be right they just have to look good ;D
That would be nice though.

I'm Brick Tamland.  People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late.  I like ice cream and a nice pair of slacks..

I know this is cliche, but if Wabash can consistently pound the rock, they stay in this one.

As HCAlum said: if Wabash can run, they can probably stay in this game.  The UWW defense was a complete shutdown unit for nine weeks, showed a crack or two against River Falls and then (despite the defensive shutout) allowed Macalester to move the ball somewhat more than they'd probably have liked (check the drive chart, Mac gained plenty of yards and first downs before getting stopped on downs in UWW territory several times).  If Wabash has similar success moving the ball and converts scoring opportunities they do get, it could be close.

If Kumerow is available, he provides an extra dimension to the UWW offense, and the goalposts for how much Wabash will have to score will be somewhat higher.

*Also probably worth noting, there is a bit more discussion about this game on the WIAC boards.  It's almost like we need a "general playoff discussion" thread to condense the discussions of individual games.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

It's a little noisier over on the WIAC board, but I'm guessing it's more of a quiet anticipation to see if we have what it takes to hang with the D3 standard bearer.

And I know from my personal experience....   after two weeks in  a row of completely ignoring my business.   Had to get a few things done early in this short week.   Even the back channel chatter has slowed.

Thanksgiving travel and prep has probably also had an impact.

I'll get something more game substantive up before Saturday, but it's just a bad week for constant board activity.  If I've got my face buried in my phone or laptop all week, I lose points with the future in-laws.  I'm sure most of you guys out there can understand.   :)

Hope everybody is having a great holiday week and has a great Thanksgiving tomorrow!
