This is the best they could get? WTF. Raeburn is so gone. It's not even close.

BashDad

I mean:

"Defensive Run Coordinator and Special Teams Coordinator, UW Whitewater 2008-Present"

Agreed. He's the best one on that list. I admit I'm biased but I wouldn't choose any of those other coaches over ER to coach at Wabash.

Maybe it was ER's the whole time and the others are window dressing to show that a search actually took place.   In all due respect to the other coaches who I am sure are fine coaches in their own right,  just lighter resumes.
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Can Wabash just hire Connor Rice?

Trust me, his resume' could be looking very different than this 4 or 5 years from now. It would be a mistake to measure him by that title. Not only does it not reflect his ceiling, it doesn't reflect his contribution. He has been huge in UW-W's success. Great recruiter, huge character guy, players love him.  Make no mistake, KB is a strong finalist. The fact is that if he were about resumes he would be in D-1 right now.

BashDad

Whatever, he's not getting hired. Period.

Is it common practice to publish resumes?

It's a guess but it might be a requirement to publicly post finalists and their resumes for those positions because it's a state job. I know there's a similar requirement here in Texas. Those jobs have to be posted for X number of days, then the finalists have to be announced, with their information public, to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

Reed Florence must've missed a voice mail.

Going on the record:

I'm gonna turn on ER faster than hollandaise if he leaves. I just canceled my weekend to write Oberlin jokes.

Honestly?  I'm underwhelmed by that list.  Raeburn is a good candidate, but I assumed there would 3-4 other HC's with similar resumes applying and UWW would let the interviews decide it.  His offensive philosophy would seem to mesh well with UWW and he's certainly the most accomplished candidate.  I'd think it's either him or the UWW assistant that lands the job.

Bishopleftiesdad

No other WIAC coaches applied or made the cut?

BashDad

There was one. This is from his resume. It's a pull quote.

I was thinking another Head coach.....
